Nice hotel. Reliable service. Plain but comfortable. When the monk runs the hotel, it is a tidy establishment. Wifi is good. The staffs are very helpful, even in an ungodly hour, they have a ready smile.

Sleeping here was terrifying for me, because when I entered the room, there was a huge spider in the bathroom! Being scared of bugs, it was very hard knowing there might be a huge spider right next to me! The room was very cold at night, and I did not get in the sheets, I slept in a thermal sleeping...

Very helpful, friendly, sincere staff and management. An excellent base from which to venture out into Boudha, greater Kathmandu and region. I enjoyed the facility of a room with kitchenette....

I have now stayed at Hotel Ngudrup for 2 extended periods in 2012 & 2013. This hotel can't be beat for price (breakfast included), helpful staff, and safety. It is often full of people coming for Buddhist teachings or pilgrimages so the environment is warm and friendly. The staff go out of their way to accomodate & help their guests....

I stayed at Hotel Ngudrup for 9 days in July and I truly enjoyed coming 'home' to this sanctuary. Lama Pema and the others here were always welcoming - including 'Johnny', the hotel's Labrador / mutt who was the calmest dog I have ever encountered. The room was spare but comfortable and clean with a private bathroom an hot water...
