The staff were fantastic and provided myself and my five friends with different options for our rooms. When we went out, they did not mind letting us in after they had locked up. The rooms were clean, as well as the bathrooms. We were staying at Lhasa GH during the earthquake. They left the hotel unlocked so we could get...

I was in awe of Kathmandu and the hustle-bustle of the narrow 'Touristy' streets of Thamel. But at the Lhasa Guesthouse, I could relax in the comfort of the friendly atmosphere and the lovely staff. My friend had been staying here for 3 months already, so it was great to be introduced to the people she had emailed me about....

We were in Kathmandu preparing for our Manaslu circuit trek. There were four of us, all twenty something travelers and we loved the Lhasa Guest House. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were very clean. We had hot showers and great water pressure. The beds were comfortable. But really, the great thing about the Lhasa Guest...

Tibetan dishes are very good, Front desk response- very quick, it would have never been better if we were checked into other hotels, the stay in lhasa guest house have been a memory and we highly...

At the back this is better, but be prepared to wake up with the early workers in the neighbourhood. Cold showers you can get the whole day. For a hot one the evenings are a better time. The...

Lhasa guest house on jyatha thamel is probably the best 'cheapie' in thamel. It stands out because of the staff - it is Tibetan family run for years - lovely people. They bend over backwards for guests, and the tibetan Buddhist atmosphere is calm in the background, genuine and not intrusive. Rooms ok, rooftop 'garden', decent breakfast, good value. Over...
