Very clean and off the main road which has is nice. I stayed in the deluxe room which had a bath and hot shower included. The staff is very friendly and polite. There is a security guard on site as well! Breakfast is included but you can order meals in house as well which were priced well and decent. Our...

Stayed here before and immediately after trekking to Everest Base Camp. Excellent hotel in the popular tourist Thamel district of Kathmandu. Rooms large and comfortable. Quiet and secluded facility with a delightful courtyard garden serviced by a first rate 24 hour kitchen. Complimentary wifi and pickup to and from the airport. Would certainly come here again. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Thamel. Yet, it is set back on a side street that limits the noise from the main streets. The courtyard and restaurant areas are cozy and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had many varieties of food. The staff are multi lingual and very helpful in assisting with all questions about the...

I stayed here before and after trekking with a group and also for a few days with my wife. Mr Padam Acharya the Hotel Manager and his staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The Eco Thamel Resort is brilliantly located in the centre of busy Thamel yet is a...

Stayed on this hotel four nights pre and post trekking EBC. The hotel is well positioned in the Thamel area and plenty of places to see, eat etc in easy walking distance. The hotel itself is fine and upgrading of rooms is obviously taking place as my pre trek room was really basic, (top floor left hand side of hotel...

The location is great - heart of Thamel. Eating places and shops are just a few steps away. However, we got room on the top floor - fifth, with no elevator. It was way too hot, and due to power supply problems it was not possible to use ac. The room was tiny, no table,no chair, hardly space to turn around.Hair dryer...

Spent 4 nights at the Eco Resort at the beginning and end of a trek. Had a lovely yoga and meditation classes, and spa onsite as well. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with AC even (a huge win when it's 95 degrees and most places only have a fan!). The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, and went out of...

Stayed here in 2014 when travelling around nepal. I couldn't fault the place and offered an ideal mix of East meets West in terms of home comforts. Would definitely stat here again and recommend to people as a first stop point when in Nepal.

I stayed at the Eco Resort for about one week, but broken up by a couple short excursions. Overall, every time I returned days or weeks later, the staff remembered me and were always kind and responsive to my needs (cleaning a room, using a locker, using their office printer, etc.) I would say the only thing about the Eco Resort...
