Crisis in Europe, it is too expensive to travel Nepal from Europe for middle class. Therefore, most of small pockets tourists like me stay on cheap Hotel, but good service. Always hard works, busy European life. Yearly only one holiday can give refreshment of mind & heart to stay on good health. Staying few weeks in Lai Lai Hotel KTM, I... More

Recommended budget hotel. Not a high quality hotel (bathrooms are slightly poor and rooms are old), but surely a great price-quality ratio. Good location (Thamel area), staff friendly, wi-fi or computer on disposal.

I was in Kathmandu in september 2012, my room was dirty, the pillow smelled so much that kept me awake all night long. My friend found a big beatle in her bed...the hotel doesn't have free wi-fi. The hotel has a good position but you can find better hotels near there

I was very pleased with the service and the very friendly staff of this hotel. Staff is always friendly, helpful, ready to provide you with information and eager to grow as a hotel. Even so,... Located not far from Thamel, the hotel is quite cheap and not well kept. During the periodic power outages the bathroom is completely dark. The bathroom is quite filthy. Free wifi is provided. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is passable. The lack of air conditiong is not a trouble in Kathmandu. Maybe it's not a good place where to... More

Sure there's hot water. Oh, you mean in the room? No. they really got me for a horrible scam. The man that brought me wouldn't allow me to leave by taking my luggage all the way up to the room and refusing to remove it. whatever you do, don't go there. So, because of this kind of treatment towards tourists... More

We wanted to stay at another hotel but they were full so came here instead. The hotel has some good sides and some downsides, on the positive the room was a decent size and well furnished with plenty of storage. The hotel had good hot water with excellent pressure and never ran out. At the end of each floor is... More
