Detailed Reviews
Pashupati Hotel is indeed a boutique hotel in the sense it has been designed by someone with a creative flair different from the average accommodation. The hotel has a very nice feel to it and you immediately feel good about staying there when first stepping into your room. It felt cosy, was clean, comfortable bed, the complimentary breakfast was great and staff friendly and happy to go out of their way to help.

this is my second visit in nepal ad i have used the hotel for 3 stays, the place is clean and rooms are comfortable. the location is great close by the airport and easily accessible. my only critique is for the variety of food we had to use this place during lockdown and only having asian dishes can be hard. there are a few sandwiches but they were super limited. Receptionist was nice and helpful but the hotel did not hesitate to take advantage of the situation. On the rates as well as to organize transport 12 000 nr to go to the pcr hospital ( for four people) was insanely expensive especially when you know a normal cab ride cost less than 500 nr .. Hotel rooms were billed at 30 usd a night more expensive than what we paid n the previous stay a week before..... All in all we had a good stay and grateful to the admin but did feel service rates were abusive and that they were taking advantage of the situation.

Absolutely the best service i have ever received at any hotel. They made us feel like VIPs. Birendra the manager even called me at the airport and told me that I forgot my reading glasses and had his drive bring them to me!
Very beautiful, contemporary, and with lots of classical Nepalese decor. Beautiful swimming pool.
Be sure and get detailed instructions on how to find it. My cab driver had a hard time. There is another hotel Rashupati nearby. Rashupati Plaza, which is where we were first taken which is not nearly as nice.

**I do know that this is a developing country that has suffered a terrible earthquake. This is our second time in Nepal and we came back because we love it.**
We needed a place close to the airport and this was it.
Weird little place.
The area is a bit rough but that depends on what you're up for. We went out for a walk the night we arrived and had to step around about a dozen chicken heads in the street just outside the hotel. The roads were so bad that a car got stuck on a ridge of broken pavement and we helped push him out. A ten year old kid smoking a cigarette stepped in front of me and blew smoke in my face then laughed. There's nothing really around the hotel itself worth seeing.
The staff tries hard. No elevator.
A bizarre little twist: actual pirate-type padlocks on the doors. You get a big metal key to unlock your room. No kidding.
Rooms are a bit small but beds are comfortable.
The bathroom is a toilet, a sink, and a shower head out of the ceiling with no shower stall. If anyone takes a shower, the whole bathroom is wet.
We had dinner at the restaurant there. Again, the staff tries hard. Food was okay. A little more expensive than expected. The area lost power multiple times. The generator didn't work. We ate by candlelight for about an hour when the generator finally kicked on.
The breakfast is awful. Cold, a few choices, and definitely not worth what they charge you.
It is clean and close to the airport.
FYI: pollution is BAD. Wear a mask. Seriously.

Prompt response to telephonic calls by owners. Allotted an apartment at same rate as a room to keep their promise to provide 1st floor room.
Rooms were spacious, clean and well heated.
Bathrooms were well provided and spacious.
Hot water was aplenty.
Breakfast was delicious and prepared on demand.
The staff was polite and cooperative, Mr. Birender was always ready to help with his smile.
We enjoyed staying with them.

+1
Very nice boutique hotel, with beautifull decoration and very friendly and kind staff, especially Januka who works in the reception. The room it's big and very comfortable, with a big bed, a desk and a wardrobe. The food of the restaurant it's amazing also I want to say thank you to the kitchen and bar staff because I enjoyed every meal I had there. The Pashupatinath temple it's around 15 minutes walking from the hotel, so the location it's also really good. I recommend this hotel to everyone and I would love to come back my self.

I had a fantastic stay with my friends for couple of days.Location was perfect as I was travelling from London and it is only 10 mins max from the airport. From front office staff to restaurant, bar, spa all of the staff members they went beyond my expectation in order to satisfy my stay. A very clean and spacious room made our stay even amazing. There was also a great choice of food options available on the menu. I will 100% recommend this beautiful place for others to stay and I can't wait to come back again. Thank you so much to all the staff again.
