I spent one week there and i would stay there again :)! Room and bathroom are big. The garden is a quiet and peaceful area to rest. Terraces offer nice view on Kathmandu's roofs. Thamel is only 5-10 minutes away by walking. Kehm and his brother are really great and glad to help you if you have any questions!

My boyfriend and me booked a few nights in that Hostel before going on our Langtang trekking tour. Was a really nice place to stay. Very friendly staff- if you have any questions just ask them :). Delicious breakfast and great view from the roof top.

The manager is really nice and took care of me and my girlfriends short stay. We stayed two nights and then went for a 3-day trek (organized by Elbrus, it was great!) and then one more night back at the hostel. It was a bit cold though, but so was the rest of the city. Wifi wasn't the quickest but...

I chose Elbrus Home based on reviews and it was a great place to stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good and filling and it was nice to enjoy it on one of the many patios, the rooftop, or the garden. Showers were always hot and wifi worked fairly well. No...

We looked at a couple top rated hostels, but chose Elbrus house in the end for our last 2 nights in ktm. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always checking on us, offering tea and coffee, and giving us directions. We got a room at the very top (5th story) we had to brave the stairs, but our room...

Elbrus Home was a wonderful place to stay in Kathmandu. Although there are so many hostels and hotels in this great city, Elbrus Home provided an excellent value for the money as well as a hospitable and welcoming place to stay. Not only was it clean and cool, but it was also a fantastic place to meet people and experience...

A very good place to stay, Friendly people, a nice garden to have breakfast or if you want you can have breakfast on the balcony that you can find on each level. The showers are splendid. When I will visit Kathmandu again I certainly go back to Elbrus home. Thanks for the hospitality. Eric and Niels from Holland.

We just kept coming back. We stayed here on 5 separate occasions during our travels in Nepal. The staff were amazing. The rooms were comfortable. Free breakfast is fantastic. Awesome garden and rooftop. Cute friendly dog. Good location. WiFi was sometimes questionable but good enough to do the basics. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Thamel. We miss our Nepali...

Always stay here when I'm passing through Kathmandu. It's a great location to work out of when checking out Kathmandu and Khem and his staff are chilled as and always know how to please you! Clean rooms, adequate bathrooms and Everest Beer in the fridge; 10/10 for a hostel type of stay.

Thank Lewis R
