Elbrus Home is an amazing place to stay in Kathmandu, it's a five minute walk to Thamel so perfect if you'd like somewhere a little quieter to stay. Everyone who works there was so friendly to us and the manager couldn't have helped us more when we were planning our stay in the city. Our room with en suite bathroom...

If you are looking for a friend and friendly place for staying at Kathmandu, It's the right place for that. The price is reasonable and the owner is very much friendly. The breakfast is also very delicious which you can enjoy in the garden. Highly recommended.

This is our third time back to Elbrus Home, and we LOVE it! Such friendly managers, super cozy and comfy beds, free drinking water, and awesome free breakfast to start the day. Definitely a wonderful home base in Kathmandu, with a great location as well. Beautiful gardens and rooftop patios. No where else we'd rather go.

I stayed two nights in a single room. Bed and toilet were clean for Nepalese standards. Hot shower all the time. Breakfast was included, simple but good. Very safe place, in walking distance north of Thamel. Stable WIFI. Nice garden and rooftop for relaxing. It seems that it is not a very socialising place such as other hostels.

We stayed in a private double room which was very clean and comfortable. The hostel is great and comes with a nice breakfast - which was given to us even at 5.30am. The owner is so fun - quite crazy (But in a fun way) and made us laugh a lot! He also helped us organise the rest of our...

This was my #1 home base between the multiple hikes I did in Nepal! Loved Elbrus Home's hot showers, super comfy beds, helpful staff, and huge included breakfast that came along with every day of my stay at Elbrus Home!

My fiancée and I stayed multiple days in Elbrus Home in different rooms every time we came back from a hike. This place is a gem! Amazing breakfasts included with the rooms (we're talking eggs, coffee, porridge, bananas, toast!), very welcoming and helpful staff, clean rooms with comfy mattress and sheets, and always hot water for showers! They helped us...

Everything was going well in my stay in Elbrus Home untill some Nepali friends of mine tried to book a room there. THE OWNER DOESN'T ACCEPT NEPALESE PEOPLE IN THIS HOSTEL. When I said it was a stupid rule he said "if you don't like you can go too". And that's what I did! I went upstairs, packed my bags...

Really enjoyed staying with Kem, he is an excellent host, approachable, and was keen to help whenever we could. Me and my partner came here three separate times. The breakfast is good, porridge, eggs, bread, juice and coffee! All included. I would recommend to stay here. Closeness to indian embassy and themal. Buy a mask for the dust though, it'll...

Khem is the perfect host and organised everything for my ten day stay. The room was comfortable and breakfast was always served with a smile. Trips were sorted and everything went like clockwork. I visited chitwan national park which was fantastic and had a mountain flight too. Loved my stay here and will definitely be back. Thank you for everything....
