I recently stayed at the Taleju Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel's location is one of its greatest assets, situated just a stone's throw from the main Thamel market and the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square. Despite being in such a bustling area, the hotel is still tucked away in a quiet corner, making it an ideal haven for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the hotel's charming exterior and friendly staff. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The staff at Taleju Boutique Hotel are truly outstanding. They are always willing to help and go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. They made several recommendations for my stay in the city and also arranged my airport drop at 10 pm which was very helpful. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were also noteworthy. They have great variety of food and it was delicious. They also arranged a city tour for me which was a great experience. The only downside of the hotel is the airport pick up service which is not complimentary and comes with an extra charge. It would have been much better if it was complimentary. Overall, I highly recommend Taleju Boutique Hotel for its great location, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food. It is a great value for the money. I look forward to staying here again in the future.…
From day one of arriving at 2am, I was in good hands! Taleju Boutique is located in the quieter areas of Thamel. Which is great for exploring and peace and relaxing. The staff goes above and beyond all capacity as service workers. From the security guards, hosts and hostesses, reception, wait staff, cooks and maids yeh consistency of excellence in service is second to none. When I needed to leave to trek for 18 days there was no problem storing my travel gear. I never was left without a solution to any problem. If I was shopping and a Taylor needed to drop my order off - Taleju staff made it happen. If I was needing to commute a cross Kathmandu they found me the best rates. I have traveled across the world and as a reporter I have stayed at many five star hotels. The price I paid is simply a small amount to what was provided and exceeded all expectations. I am happy to return next season and be in good hands once again. …
Perfect hotel!!! So friendly and helpfull. The manager especially helped me so much with excursions and helping me. Thanks so much. Perfect WIFI. Liked the room also nice rooftofbar. Bed feels good. Fast warm water way faster then other hotels. Roomservice which is very handy good served food. Also free sanitary bags and minis like showergel and even a razor and toothbrush! I felt very welcome and good service. Also a mini fridge! The only but that was the only thing it was a bit noisy because I was at the side of the outside . But not too bad just some sounds. Overall very good place and staff is wonderfull , all of them. Thank you guys!!! Greetings from the netherlands.
Look no further if you are looking for a peaceful gem, in a great area, with the best staff! I picked this place off of their reviews, and it did not disappoint! Their breakfast every morning was incredibly tasty, and the menu changed daily. The rooms are nice; very clean, great hot water, and wonderful beds & linens. The wifi is good as well in the rooms. I had room service/dinner one night that was very good! The courtyard is perfect and beautiful. A quiet little oasis in a very busy part of Kathmandu. The staff are all so wonderfully kind and helpful as well! Massive thank you to Monica, Suman, and Samir for making my stay special and for all the extra help too with arranging rides, etc. This place and its staff are equally awesome!! I will 100% come back here next time I’m back in KTM.…
The SPA in this Hotel is great!! Different treats are offered, very relaxing. The therapist knows her job and everything is clean. After the SPA you can enjoy a drink and food in a beautiful patio with nice trees and greens . The bar is located in the patio, good and friendly bar keeper.
Really enjoyed week I spent on back end of 3 week trek. This is great location on quiet street away from noise of Thamel streets. The accommodations grounds and staff are really wonderful. The staff always there to assist me with questions and recommendations. The owner took time to speak with me as well. The breakfast every morning was delicious as well as other foods ordered from menu. I also enjoyed nice on site massage. The bed and room were comfy and spacious. Fair value for property and services.
The Taleju Boutique Hotel is an oasis in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal! The staff is/ were like old friends and they did beyong & above to us! Very friendly atmosphere, nice amenities, great location, nice rooms and a charming, private, quiet courtyard with beautiful flowers to rest after a busy day walking on the "crazy streets of Kathmandu"!!! We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and had zero complaints. We will misses Nepal and the wonderful, kind and nice Napelese people! Taleju is in our opinion a MUST Hotel to stay in Kathmandu.
We had a very, very pleasant stay at Taleju. The rooms were very nice and clean. Good shower, very fast and good WiFi. Breakfast is excellent, as well as lunch and dinner options. Very delicious and fresh cuisine, and very good and hygienic. The location is also perfect, its in the centre of Thamel, everything you want is just around the corner (good restaurants, taxi, ncell to buy simcard). And the hotel is still in a quiet street, which we found to be very welcoming. But above all, the staff was exceptional! Super friendly and helpful. Very polite, very nice people. The manager Sanjay went out of his way to help us with anything. I used the spa several times and it was excellent! After a two week trekking and being overwhelmed by the busy streets of Thamel, I could enjoy and relax the spa immediately when I wanted. The stay in Taleju was perfect and will definitely come here again when visiting Kathmandu.…
I loved my stay at the Taleju Boutique Hotel. The staff welcomed me and I immediately felt safe and cared for. The manager, Sanjay, went out of his way each day to help me plan and navigate my day as I was nervous about walking through the many narrow, winding streets, afraid I would get lost, but he explained the routes well, and also explained that asking people directions each step of the way was my best option. And people were very friendly, willing and helpful and it was easy. The first day I found my confidence and comfort in going to the various designations I had planned. The food at Taleju was delicious and of excellent quality, and a lot to choose from depending on my mood and desire to experience Nepali, Indian, American, Italian, etc. specialities. You really get a lot for what you pay. The room and the hotel were super-clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Again, the staff were so courteous and helpful with whatever I needed, wanted, or just to talk about what I was experiencing. If I come here again I will definitely stay at Taleju. THANK YOU SANJAY AND STAFF!!!…
