We spent 3 nights at Shivapuri Heights when we arrived in Nepal and it was a wonderful arriving experience away from the madness and noise of the city. We were looked after so well, food was amazing, rooms were comfortable (with much needed hot water bottle at night) and staff were fabulous. We booked this trip through Imagine India and...

We spent the last 2 nights of our 3,5 weeks in Nepal here. After some serious trekking and staying in more budget accommodation before, we decided to treat ourselves to a little luxury before going home and it was money extremely well spent. We enjoyed it very very much. Special thanks to Romita and the very skilled and super friendly...

I have spent a night over in the cottage; very nice and cozy rooms. Friendly people and delicious, besides a very nice fire in the night for warmth and good talk around it :) I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as I did!

Spent one night at Shivapuri Heights with my partner, and we both loved it. Great views, beautiful rooms, and superb hospitality. We really felt at home with Steve and Neeru - and the homemade food is amazing. Thank you for making our weekend out of Kathmandu unforgettable.

Met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed my stay in one of the loft rooms. The team at Shivapuri Heights couldn't do enough for me. The hike to a local monastery, Dadagaun Village School was really special and we have decided to help the students of the school further.

We were beautifully looked after by Steve and his team on our day trip from the city. He recommended a walk (with guide provided) around the local area before we sat down for a very leisurely and delicious lunch. Homemade lemonade and popcorn kept us going until the main course (Nepali for us and pasta for the kids). We ate...

A friend recommended a walk to and lunch at Shivapuri Heights Cottages. I had family in town and wanted to get out of the city for the day, combining a short hill walk with lunch. Turns out Shuvapuri Heights Cottages was the perfect solution. Despite a very last minute email, Steve sorted out a guide to walk is up to...

I stayed at Shivapuri Heights Cottage with my sister in a room in the main Jasmine House that had a private attached bathroom. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, the bed was clean and comfy, and the shower had plenty of hot water. We stayed for 4 nights to relax and to trek around Kathmandu Valley. Watching the sunrise...

After some holidays and crowded city cultural events, I came down with a cold and a bad cough. I needed a place to chill and breathe, with domestic flights and long road trips not an option. I picked up a brochure for Shivapuri Heights Cottage at CEWIC clinic and out of desperation, called without checking a thousand different sources, and...
