We had 2 days stay at hotel drahla and we finalized it looking at the reviews but we made a mistake here. The hotel is new so interiors are good, thats it the management is not up to the mark. Heater in the room makes no difference at all in the cold climate of winters. Hot water is centralized so when many guest were present in the hotel we din't hot water. Even water in thief storage was over it seems. The ala carte menu must be good, but buffet (breakfast and dinner)was cold lifeless and tasteless. Overall you can skip the hotel ..there are better options available

Hi their, are you all having tough time to make a pleasant stay in any of the hotels in Thimphu than please do refrain from the struggles for the search of good hotels because making your stay at Hotel Dralha will make you feel like home as the management out here is super systematic and all the staffs are well trained to provide you the best services. I booked through Jaigoan tours and travels and I indeed feel that they really made the best choice for choosing this hotel.

It was a amazingly excellent stay in Thimphu, which was never expected. The Little Kitchen provided an excellent Indian food which we could not get anywhere in Bhutan. Location and cleanliness is awesome. Recently built property so almost all the modern amenities available. One of the few properties in Bhutan where you will get elevators. Only drawback they dont have the swimming pool.

On the first day of our trip (2 families with 4 teenagers) to Bhutan, after landing in Paro Int’l airport we were accommodated in this amazing hotel situated in the midst of a typical Bhutan street at Thimphu. We have taken the package through Teem Bhutan Travels. Rooms were spacious , clean and wonderful service by the staff. The vegetarian restaurant “Little Kitchen”provided us delicious breakfast and dinner dishes. ( Parathas, poori bhaji, idli, paneer butter masala, aloo Gobi etc) along with salads and yogurt. View from the rooms were fantastic and lifts were available. WiFi was one of the best.
