I stayed for works for about a week in March 2014. The staff were very helpful, rooms comfortable and the location was quiet. Unbelievable value for the buffet. One thing I got very tired of is the scent on the floors. There's a vaporizer on each floor near the elevators and it can be smothering at times. Other than that...

The main lobby and guest areas are excellent, however, for me the Mist Bar (built on the Gorillas in the Mist concept) and Lakes restaurant are the best part of the hotel. Both venues overlook a very small man-made lake with jungle type vegetation and make meal times very relaxed. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are a...

In the midst of poverty all around the city of Kampala lies an oasis that once you drive in you are compelled to forget the world's troubles and sink into five star luxury. Everything about this hotel demands that you take it slow after a hectic day in the office.
