The breakfast Buffet was quite impressive with a variety of choices ranging from smoothies, pancakes, donuts, katogo, baked beans, bread, beacons, sausages, freshly squeezed passion, pineapple, watermelon, apple juice, your gut , pastries, donuts, oatmeal, eggs…etc Katonga...

After a day in the bush this hotel provides a welcome relief...can still smell the red earth being washed off at the end of a long day. The staff are very accommodating, particularly with room service at 3am for hungry revellers!

Beautiful accommodations and great staff. Highly recommend. Beautiful grounds. Nearby shopping within walking distance. Close by area market with Ugandan fashion and fabrics. The hotel restaurant served excellent daily complimentary breakfast. Rates are reasonable. I would rate a 4.5 out of 5. Desk staff were fabulous and very helpful.

I've stayed in Serena hotels in a number of cities. You can normally count on a nicely appointed room, enormous if not over-ambitious breakfast, and cheery counter staff. Serena Kampala is that, with perhaps slightly more comprehensive facilities than some others. And yet, there are small annoyances that seem to follow me with this chain (I had a negative experience...

If you want to have a working lunch in the heart of Kampala there is no better place than the Serena hotel restaurant. The food is cooked well and delicious the service is also commendable with staff that pay attention to detail. The Serena is an oasis in the center of busy Kampala.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. As a frequent traveler I've stayed in the best and some not so good hotel, but this hotel is the real deal. Very secure when you come in. There is a gate outside the compound and everyone coming and going goes through a magnatometer. The rooms are are very nice, two desks...
