Welcome to the dropping-off point into rural Uganda, where at $35-45 a night (a bit overpriced for the area) you will get the most bare-bones of rooms (crumbly plaster, hard bed, a bug or three) but a bathroom with shower (no hot water, usually, wear your flip flops in the shower), a sweet smile, and a good breakfast in the...

The place has a good garden, building that were built long time however they need good care, The hotel management told us that the kitchen was closed for renovations ( an info they should've told us while we were booking) You can't pay using VISA/Master Card because they are working on the system

The hotel need renovation and bit of positive affords from management to make staff more motivated so that they can deliver good services with smile to their customers. Our requests were almost turned down and we had to checkout one day earlier than planned.

Hotel needs to improve in terms of room maintenance, gardens available could have been maintained in a better way. Staff somehow is friendly however could be more informative in terms of guest entitlements. It would be better to make the entrances more attractive currently it's looks very dull.

It is certainly not a 5 stars hotel... But the staff is great and always looking to please. I stayed there May 26 to 31. When I arrived there were no power and the hot water was barely dripping... The boss, Bill took me for a walk near the lake waiting for power to return. They fixed the shower the...

I had the opportunity to visit this hotel in 2009 when it was still in its infancy. Did not use the accomodation but the service and the gardens where good.I was born and grew up in the local area. Come 2013 ,I happened to stay at the same hotel. Still a good place to stay. Prices are negotiable and they...

This small hotel near the Speke Resort has got beautiful and very peaceful gardens. My room was basic, but good enough for me. And it was clean! The bathroom was big with a shower over the bath, but the shower could do with being wall or ceiling mounted as it kept falling down and the temperature varied from boiling to...

I usually come to Uganda once a year for business, it usually means I have to stay in Kampala for a week; I have stayed at Royal Impla Hotel several times over the years, last year I was significantly impressed as they had hired a Manager from Ireland *I think, he was a nice guy though I've been forgotten his...

I would have clicked the button between average and very good, but there was none, so I opted for the very good. A few years back we had a meeting and friends stay at the hotel for a few days. I visited again this month and decided to have just a meal. The air was filled with smoke from a...
