I went to the lodge, kampala (17 Aug 2013 ) on the basis of the review of this site. And there was a shocker for us. The man at reception did not want to show us the room even after requesting for many times ( though should not have even requested , and just walked out ). Instead wanted us... More

The staff is amazing. They are extremely friendly and helpful. It's a small, quaint lodge that is peaceful, safe and clean. The breakfast each day is included in your stay and it delicious. Alex is the manager and is a great guy. Be sure and take time to talk with the staff and get to know them a bit. They... More

I stayed at The Lodge last weekend during a volunteer mission for 5 days. The rooms are great, a twin or double bed is lined with "brilliant" white sheets and the shower and toilet are modern and new to match. I'm usually a 5 start girl and was throughly impressed from start to finish. There is a common living room... More

My husband, son and I stayed at The Lodge for 4 weeks as we journeyed through an adoption. The staff is truly amazing, the place is cleaned top to bottom each day, and the food is excellent and safe to eat. We couldn't have been happier with the service and accomodations. Everyone there is willing to help over and above... More

Based on the many positive TripAdvisor ratings we chose this hotel, but were overall disappointed. Out of all hotels and hostels (some even shoestring!) during our 3 week Uganda trip, this was the most disappointing hotel: 1. rooms are relatively expensive compared to the rest of Uganda and even compared to other hotels in Entebbe (e.g. African roots guesthouse), 2.... 17 swiss loved this place and they recommended for every client flying to Uganda. Because its only 20 minutes drive from Ebb and 15 minutes to kampala city center. You should not miss a night here and it's pocket friendly.....

My husband and i stayed at the lodge two nights before our safari and one night after and i must say the place is beautiful. When we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were fantastic, food was very excellent and most of all the rooms are beautiful and clean. I could see the beautiful gardens... More

I stayed here in Sept and loved it here. It feels more like at home than at a hotel or guest house. I was part of a safari to Uganda and rwanda and this guest house was selected by my agent and I have no copmplaint whatsoever. I reccomend it to anyone who wishes to travel to kampala.

The Lodge delivers on its promise, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and are only too pleased to help you have a really comfortable stay. Breakfast is tasty and you can order an evening meal which will be rustled up in no time. WiFi access in the rooms is patchy but there is a computer which is available to... More

This was another great experience based on what I expected. I is a few minutes’ drive from the Airport and surely it was recommended by Adventure trails since I booked a tour with them, so I was like lets give it a try. On reaching the place, it was lovely and quiet in a good way. The staff looked after... More
