Nice hostel where I stayed for one night before and after a trip to Murchison with Red Chilli. Very comfortable rooms, nice food, good bars and a pool! Only downside is that rooms are not lockable. Staff are welcoming and efficient.

Dear Wersaints So glad you enjoyed your stay with us - both in Kampala and Murchison! We provide keys for our private rooms, but not the dormitories, unless your party fills the full dorm of 6 beds. This is because people all come and go at different times and when someone falls asleep with the key on the inside of...

Great value hostel to chill 30 mins - 1 hour from the city centre depending on traffic I went on a trip to Jinja and on the big 6 safari, both of which were excellent. I had a dorm room to myself. Quiet hostel with guests of all ages. There is a nice breeze and good views and a swimming...

Got there and the staff was amazing at helping me out with all my needs. Amazing staff, great dorm rooms as well. The shared bathrooms are not that great (no hot water in the evening) so that was a bit of a downer. It's a little far from the city and malls but it's not a big deal to get...

Dear Mish B Thanks you for your lovely feedback on our staff and the rooms at Red Chilli. Sorry about the problem with hot water in the evening - we did have a problem with one of our water pumps a month or so back but it's fixed now and there should be strong, hot showers once more. I would...

Felt safe at this site even though in a sketchy city. Facilities were mixed. Camping basic, but nice pool and hot showers. Can be quite noisy at night, depending on other campers. Offer transfers to Jinja activities.

We had Red Chilli set up an 11 day safari in Uganda. They arranged a series of stays in various areas with very good local facilities. All the facilities met our expectation for convience, cleanliness and meal, etc. The driver/guide from Red Chilli was excellent providing very interesting information on the parks, animals, and particularly on Uganda and its people...

Dear fastuphill Thanks very much for the great feedback - sounds like you had a fabulous safari! If you didn't fill in a customer feedback form, it would be great if you could let me know via our website who your driver/guide was. So glad you enjoyed our beautiful country of Uganda! Best regards Debbie

My husband and I stayed at Red Chilli for 3 nights as part of our stay in Kampala and were impressed with the standard for budget accommodations. Rooms were clean with mosquito nets, hot, strong showers and they offered great services - including a free shuttle in to town and a restaurant with good, cheap meals. The shuttle is very...

LOVE THIS PLACE! After having visited over 30 countries, this Butabika-suburb accommodation right outside of Kampala is my favorite (cleanest and friendliest) budget hotel/hostel/experience on 4 continents!
