Hats off to the head chef or executive chef for the variety of food during Sunday brunch we enjoyed staying at the dining because of the food plus the view of the ocean during sundown. Delicious and enjoyable to look at with all those variety of desserts, seafood was perfectly fresh, Staffs are polite and always greeted me with a smile , room is clean with a very cold air conditioned room and etc.
I am fan of observing every hotel i went too one thing i observe is the carpet looks old and looks dirty. Ocd alert!😅😅

I choose it every time I travel to Dakar. Located in Diamniadio, 30 minutes along the toll road halfway between the international airport and Dakar, next to the national stadium. It is a modern and safe hotel with all the necessary amenities to rest and relax (swimming pool, spa, gym), have a good WiFi connection and a good restaurant with a sufficient variety of dishes or a very complete buffet menu. Having used the Radisson Diamniado on and off for almost 2 years, i want to write how great the staff and facilities are, the location is outside Dakar but makes it a great connection for the airport and is right next to the conference centre. I have a great freindly relationship with the staff from the security, front desk, bar restaurant , cleaners are very helpful and welcoming every time i stay there. The pool is great, the rooms are clean and the food in the bar and restaurant is great. I highly recommend it not so much traffic as Dakar.

A nicely designed hotel with big rooms. But after the initial impression, I almost don't know where to start... Every time a different room hides bad surprises. VERY POOR MAINTENANCE! Broken lamps (even missing in many rooms, since they remove them instead of replacing them) blocked shower drain, black-out curtains left hanging out of the mechanism. Even bed bugs! (what a luck!), tiger mosquitos inside the room, overprice restaurants, extremely bad perfume in the room (from cleaning products? either way giving a bad headache- intense perfumes are a very personal choice). If you can manage something else you would better avoid this one!

This place is nice on the eye, that’s where the pleasure stops. My first trip here was for 1 day, day room waiting on a flight to leave the country. Hotel was plagued with power cuts, an employee must have been stationed at the fuse because the lights were going on and off like a disco for hours. I was also charged $30 for a double Jack daniels. Exchange rate is a rip off 500cfa to 1$ at the time of writing anywhere would give you 640cfa to 1$. Next trip was 18 days, I really saw how bad this place was, the customer service at every turn was shocking. In our trip we experiencedlong waits for service, bread ties inside the food, flooded rooms from above, ham served to Muslim colleagues, alcohol served to Muslim colleagues, constantly over charging at every turn bar/laundry/food can all mysteriously end up on your bill, the bar is like an avery with birds and bird poop on tables, broken lounge chairs and awnings, staff leave ridiculous wait times to serve you / get bill, power cuts are a daily thing, cockroach in my room. Now finally on the last day they charged for an overnight stay even though we are checking out and refuse to remove it. They also charged for breakfast on a bill with bed and breakfast and even still tried to argue it………crazy. The place is in the middle of nowhere. Stay at the Pullman or raddison blu sea plaza as this place isn’t worth it.

Nice clean modern hotel, with great facilities.
If not for the points listed below, would have given it a rating of 5
1) On this trip, stayed in the Radisson three times, twice in Dakar, once in Bamako. Only one stay was reflected in my rewards programme.
2) broken gym equipment and poor sanitary provisions given Covid. No spray bottles or paper towels
3) laundry service was not up to the standard expected. Had to chase a few times to get my laundry
4) whilst the food Was excellent, the service in the restaurant and the time to receive food was substantially below par. After an hour of waiting for my food was close to walking out

Stayed here 2 nights back in November 2019 in a standard room.
The room was clean and though not that well sound insulated.
The gym was sparsely equipped, but fine for such a short stay.
Unfortunately, the sauna was turned off all the time and whenever you wanted to use it you had to notify the staff before hand. Since the sauna would take 30 minutes to get warm, I would let the staff know when at the start of my workout. The issue however, was that if I then worked out for too long, someone would go an turn off the sauna. If I then tried to time it during my workout to around 30 minutes before I would need the sauna, no staff would be around to turn it on..
Another issue was that the my room was full of mosquitoes, which meant I would get up every half hour during the night to kill a mosquito. I am pretty sure that they would come in from the vent since every time I got back into bed I was sure I had gotten the last mosquito. This unfortunately led to a horrible nights sleep with 16 mosquito bites and the same number of dead mosquitoes splattered on the walls of the room. In hindsight, I should have asked to change rooms after the first night, as I encountered the same issue on the 2nd night with too many mosquitoes.
On the positive side, staff were generally very pleasant, though English was lacking for everyone except the front desk staff and some restaurant staff.
I would not recommend this hotel at the price point, as you could get something cheaper and have the same issue of no sauna and mosquitoes getting into the room through cracks or the air vent. However, I would consider giving them a second chance if the price were low enough.

I stopped over for one night in Dakar, wanting to be close to the airport and expecting this hotel to at least be as good as any Ibis hotel in Europe. It was three times the price, the buffet dinner was awful and very expensive, and when I checked out the receptionist tried to charge me for another client’s dinner. I will never stay here again.

poor pickup, wait for chef for breakfast there seems to be no urgency and gusts must wait for service. this is the third time i have had issues when the hotel was to collect me from the airport. If you take some guests who have come out surely you have another vehicle dispatched and don't expect him to come out find no driver and just expect him to await your convenience - its called client service

We stayed here for just one night and the room was perfect and quiet. The breakfast buffet is really excellent for Senegal and we also had lunch in the restaurant - that was also perfectly good, if a little expensive.
The staff were very friendly without exception, and very helpful when I left something in the room when we checked out and we had to call to ask them to store it safely till we could get back to recover it later.
Its about 15 minutes from the airport by their free shuttle (which is also fine) though its a bit more to get back to the airport due to the highway access, maybe 25-30 mins if I remember right, so be aware of that.
The staff were very friendly without exception, and very helpful when I left something in the room when we checked out and we had to call to ask them to store it safely till we could get back to recover it later.
