Stayed here for two nights. Room size is good but very basic and a little tired. Bed comfort is okay. The room is a little dark. The room has a lack of power points, so you have to unplug fridge, table lights or TV to access a power point. My room had a double bed and a single bed. Fridge...

I stayed here in January 2017. This a small hotel with a small restaurant. Not very expensive for downtown Dakar. It has Wifi, hot water, and well located. Very quiet during the night time; daytime however is very different because of heavy traffic around the business district. It is a decent average place to stay in dakar. Very friendly folks...

Good air conditioning, and wifi. Not a great value, but had a good stay. The bar kept running out of cold beers, and closed very early in the evening. Go up the street and buy them cheaply at the super market and place them in your mini fridge. A cold one is essential in West Africa! The higher floors are...

I was forced to take his 1/2star hotel since my agent couldn't find anything else. I was put off by the fact that the place smelled of urine and smoke. The checkin desk was completely covered in old sweat and sticky Attached some pictures of the room. If a hotel is clean, it is acceptable, but brown stains on white...

This is a very affordable hotel located in a vibrant and attractive area of Dakar, within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, shopping areas and street markets. The rooms are kept very clean and I had only one minor issue during my recent week-long stay here: the hot water heater stopped working one morning, just as I finished my shower....

this place deserves to be the place of residence for your stay on Dakar. Ideally located, spacious and air conditioned room. Breakfast of good, personal and courteous and available. The place is clean, close to the Independence Square , and shopping . rather quiet street and balcony in some rooms. I suggest taking breakfast at the restaurant Farid , very...

I stayed there for the matter of hours, but I slept very well and I realized that the location is perfect, very near to Sandaga market and you can get everything cheaply from the shops around. The price was good as well, I believe.

I stayed in the Hotel Al Baraka for five days in November. The location is pretty well situated to experience the real Dakar, plus the ferries to Gore Island are within a short walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the wifi worked moderately well. But the staff is was really makes the hotel bad. When I would...

We return to the Hotel Al Baraka every year. Why? Because the staff are very friendly and helpful and look after us so well. The rooms are of a good standard, the hotel is in a great central location, and the price is good value for a mid range hotel. You will struggle to find a better option in Dakar!

They let us down picking us from the airport as promised. But great location and the staff were very friendly, great big room. Nice breakfast. They dealt with my complaint very professionally with regards to my non existence arrival transfer. They explained they recently changed services and now were doing it with their own transport. I genuinely believe it was...
