If you're expecting a charming boutique hotel with quirky rooms and modern amenities (my version of a boutique hotel), this is not the place. The rooms are basic in terms of furnishing, the lighting is what you would find at a $10 barber shop. A loud airconditioner adds to the fun. The bathroom though was massive (not sure why) and...

This was my first trip to Rwanda, and we arrived late in the evening from Nairobi. The staff were incredibly accommodating and well intentioned but excruciatingly slow. Everything took ages for the whole stay. The gardens around the rooms are beautiful and offers a really relaxing experience, but the rooms could do with an update. Food was good, but once...

I stayed in the master suite and loved it. It is large and beautifully decorated with all the amenities. The view of Kigali from the terrace is beautiful. The Jacuzzi is awesome. The hotel is away from the city centre so it's well secluded.

Booked here (and prepaid $1000 for the 2 nights of course...) for a stay between 15 and 17 July. Got a message only today 13 july canceling my booking... That's the worst treatment ever seen by a hotel claiming itself as a premium destination Not a call, not an explanation, nothing... Just a cancellation 7 words message with no alternative......

As a Rwandan I was extremely scandalized, I went with Family to enjoy a Saturday dinner, only to be ordered by the Restaurant Staff to Move to the far end of the restaurant because I was too close to an enclosed room hosting some Rwandan Cabinet Minister and her guests (names withheld) - so I chose to go because I...

I have been here before with my family but this time I went with my husband. Ambiance is good but service can be slow. I had to stand up from our table to look for the waiter. Food looked good but disappointing. My husband's steak was cold and tasteless and my chicken was equally tasteless almost like the chef or...

Well, yes, I too didn't have hot water in my room so they moved me to another the next day, then came by to make sure hot water was available. It looked like they were working on the outside pipes so maybe this problem will be soon solved. I was moved to a magnificent suite with balcony, one of 7...

I stayed in this hotel for a week recently and think I would not stay again. The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated BUT I had to move twice as there was no hot water. Even then it never came really hot. The windows in the rooms are glass slats and I had some missing and it was...

This is a renovated beautiful old home/mansion in a nice area of Kigali. (It is near the Hotel Diplomate). Neighborhood is good, and you can feel safe strolling here. There are big new houses in this residential area. There is a big columned verandah, a view of the hills, a lovely small flower garden and gazebo. It's a nice place...
