Reading some of the negative reviews I'm not sure what people expect!! It is clean, well staffed, friendly and looked after our group of 13 Rotarians well. Breakfast buffet had a nice mix of Nigerian and western foods. Note that hot water needs to be turned on in the room, my first shower was cold then figured it out :)

In another review I characterised Abuja hotels as falling into three categories: the big branded hotels (Hilton etc), the charmless budget hotels, and a second category of large independent hotels aspiring for four star status. The Chelsea Hotels far into this later category...the one I stayed in is the Central Business District Chelsea near the War College, Metro Plaza. It's...

We got there on September 29th and left on October 1st. I almost didn't go to this hotel based on the reviews I saw here. But my husband insisted and it happened to be way better than most travelers rated them. They also offer a discount on their price. My major minus is the free wifi and it's connectivity. They...

One of my worst hotels I have stayed for a price of above 200 USD. The food is bad. The service is slow and uncaring when a light fixture fell of the ceiling onto the floor of the room when i was sitting working at the desk. I went to reception to let them know and they just laughed and...

It is my second trip to Abuja on business and I am not impressed by this hotel. I am no stranger to dingy, moldy hotels where things are broken- that's just a regular facet of traveling to developing countries. But not for the almost $300/night my company is paying for me to stay here! Pros- nice pool, pool bar and...

The Hotel is secure in all aspects. The WI Fi system works well.Electrical supply is dependable. We stayed for 3 nights during the Oil and Gas Show. The trip was memorable. Breakfast could improve. The Bar is quiet. I would strongly recommend this Hotel for Business and Leisure travel.

Another Abuja boutique hotel in the poor-average category to be avoided. Had no choice - a client booking for me. Order a burger and find there's no mince available. Room service prawn cocktail mainly a fruit and veg cocktail with a few bits of shrimp. Croc Monsieur that replaced the burger a poor-quality triple decker with the CM ingredients. None...

A good property, well located in the business district. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably spacious - appear to be good value for money. Food is good - though the range is somewhat limited. Good service, with courteous staff.

Despite the spacious and grand looking lobby and reception everything else including the rooms is dowdy, dated and wholly unimpressive. The food is uninspired and uninteresting. The reception is a comedy of errors with the staff completely clueless about how to work their check-in and out system. If you have a flight to catch check out as soon as possible...

The hotel has nice and courteous staff. The rooms are big and fairly clean. The rug appears dirty but I guess it's just bad colour abinitio. The hotel is noisy. There is no soundproofing between rooms and from the conference room. Events go on in the conference rooms up 3 or 4am with loud music and live bands. Some rooms...
