Great for a stopover in Windhoek. 10 mins walk to City Centre. Relaxing outdoor lounge and pool. Bed and breakfast only. 24 hour secure access. Drinks available by pool all day. Breakfast part self service but pleasant terrace where it's served.

We stayed in Villa Verdi Guesthouse during 3 nights (not consecutive ones) at 2 different rooms last August 2012. This was our hotel during our first day in Windhoek at the beginning of our honey moon trip in Namibia, once back from Botswana and before going home. It's a very well located hotel, at walking distance from the shopping area...

We were a family of 5 adults that recently stayed at Villa Verdi. The overall condition of the Guesthouse looks good on face value, however this place lacks when comparing it in the leading lodges category. We stayed in 3 different rooms, with 2 of them being atrocious, no better words to describe these dodgy, creepy, bug invested rooms. The...

Stayed here for 1 night in September 2010. After a long nightflight we arrived at Villa Verdi around 10am. Villa Verdi is just outside the center of Windhoek. But I had the feeling it's not a good neighboorhood.A man opened the gate so we could park our jeep on the parking lot in front of the guesthouse. The girl at...

Although one of so called "leading lodges" , it is in poor condition. I hope the quality as improved since we were there as they placed a very nice belgian guy to manage it, but i doubt he will be able to change the bad habits they have there !There are definitely better places to stay in windhoek.

Dear Francoise, Thank you for your report on Villa Verdi but we have noticed you've stayed with us almost one year ago. In the meantime many things have changed. We are working hard to bring Villa Verdi back to one of the nicest places to stay in Windhoek. We have commenced the needed renovations and supply now also free wireless...

I booked to stay at this hotel using hotels.com as I was flying to Namibia and it was absolutely vital I had a hotel with a good internet connection. I had previously rejected a hotel in Windhoek on the grounds that it could not guarantee fast internet, and so was reassured that Villa Verdi advertised a fast internet connection. My...

Dear Dave, We are really sorry for this inconvenience, it is true that we have had problems with our internet but these are not really to blame on the guesthouse. Stable and high speed internet is not easy to find in Namibia. Due to your report I've selected a new internet service provider and we now offer Wi-Fi free of...

The web pictures are incredibly deceiving! I am a well travelled person and I know when I am being ripped off and Villa Verdi's rates are ridiculous for what is offered 1. On arrival I had to get out of my car and open the gate to drive in and the establishment is not in one of the best areas...

A colleague and myself traveled to Windhoek from South Africa Feb 15th - 17th 2012 for business. I had booked our accommodation at Villa Verdi online via Leading Resorts of Africa (parent company). I had a confirmed booking for two rooms, however when we arrived the VERY unfriendly and VERY unhelpful receptionist admitted that an error had been made on...

Stayed one night each at the beginning and end of our trip to Namibia. The first room was large and generally met our requirements. The second, however, most definitely did not. No working TV, a cracked sink and decorations well overdue for a refurb. Breakfasts were really good, no dinner available but were recommended a nearby restaurant - NICE- which...
