Hi Melissa Can you tell me what the name of the tour was? I would like to be able to see the San people as well as the animals and it looks like you were able to do both. Did you book through your accommodation or directly through N/a'ankuse Lodge? Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi, I am going to Africa to volunteer beginning in January. I already know which programs I will be participating in in South Africa, but I am deciding between the Naankuse program and Lilongwe program outside of South Africa. Lilongwe is highly recommended, but more expensive than Naankuse. Naankuse worries me because they allow you to walk with and touch the animals. I am concerned that this effects the animals negatively and am concerned that it could lead to canned hunting. Are there a lot of cubs at Naankuse or have there been any reports of canned hunting? Thanks! Amy
