We booked the Puccini because a friend recommended it. We are very disappointed. The room was very dark and it looked like it would be the store room of the house. The general areas like garden and lounge were dirty and neglected. The pool was out of order. Strange guests ... But: the staff was very friendly and it is...

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay with us. We try to keep the common areas tidy and hope that guests help us with that after hours. We still have water restrictions in Windhoek and have to keep the pool covered. The garden also struggled with little water and is looked after two times per week. We...

After being turned away at Chameleon as they were fully booked, it seemed that Puccini was the only place in Windhoek with openings. The prices were steep for a budget traveler, but as I had no choice, I went and stayed there. The place was extremely quiet, with few guests. Certainly, I didn’t find any young budget travelers there. The...

I stayed at the Puccini in the beginning and end of my trip to Namibia. I stayed in the cheaper rooms outside which were very spacious and are suitable for anyone at the budget. The shared bathrooms were clean. For the last two nights I stayed at a room with ensuite which was also lovely. The breakfast is very good...

We stay here regularly, the staff know us and always make a fuss of the kids, the owners are friendly and welcoming. While it is not a luxury guesthouse, it has everything one needs. The owners have gone out of their way to accommodate us and assist us wherever possible. We have 'our' room, which is great, it is spacious...

I stayed here in February. Its reasonably clean as i did find spiders webs in the shower and general insects crawling all over but this is Africa and was no too annoying. The breakfast is basic and limited in supply, cold cuts and cereal. The bed was clean. its quiet and in a good location being just 10 mins walk...

Excellent service! Nice and quiet premises, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast included, good location (in the city centre), friendly staff, good prices. Would definitely recommend staying there! Only negative thing with this place was the WIFI, very slow, sometimes not working at all and only available in one place in the corner of the yard.

We arrived at puccini house from our holiday in Cape Town and the lady who was there told us not go out because there was someone who entered the place and stole something. It was fact that we were not staying there for free, in the evening we went out for dinner and drinks and when we arrived the gate...

My stay at Puccini guesthouse was for 3 nights. I arrived very late on my first nights accommodation, but was still warmly welcomed. I had a room to myself and shared a bathroom with one other guest. Both the bathroom facilities and the room were very clean and tidy. The owner of Puccini was kind and helpful. He gave me...

Accommodation was decent - with good showers, kitchen, laundry facilities etc. Decent location - within walking distance of the centre. Internet (which you pay for) is a bit slow. Best bit for us was how helpful the owner was - with lots of suggestions of what to do, plus helpful in arranging taxis, reservations etc. Good breakfast too.

Stayed here in 2012 for 2/3 nights. I had a twin single room full of mosqitoes and spiders and I had to walk down the path outside to use the bathroom/toilet. The self catering kitchen reminded me of something out of my school boy camping days, basic! The staff were not overly helpful, but I guess you get what you...
