My stay at Maison Ambre was short but amazing! I arrived a bit early before my room was cleaned, so I was treated to a comfy couch and coffee with biscuits while I used the fast, complimentary wifi and watched television. My room was very private and in a quiet corner with an overhead fan and shower with super hot...

Beate and her staff made our stay great. They allowed us to leave things at the guest house when we went on tour. Beate keeps a very clean well appointed guest house with a great breakfast and super advice for travelers Very close to great restaurants

Very nice B&B in Windhoek Clean well appointed room - Excellent service. A little out of the way: our taxi driver had some trouble finding it. Ever so friendly service: we were given a packed breakfast because of our (very) early departure. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

A lovely B&B property that offered great service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Andrea and Beate made us feel very welcomed. One area for improvement s the wifi, which could be better. Good restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance, and the craft market is only a 5/10 minute cab drive away.

We stayed here on the evening we landed in Windhoek. We were a little late arriving which seemed no problem to the staff who were very welcoming and helpful. The room was well appointed and had a fridge and a safe and lots of space. There were power points available and I was able to recharge all my gadgets. There...

My husband and I spent two nights at this guesthouse. The fresh fruit salad on the breakfast platter was great and there was a variety of cereals and breads, meats and cheese. A bacon/egg/sausage choice was available and bottomless cups of coffee. Our room was huge with its own kitchenette and lounge area. The unit was spotless and the staff...

I stayed in a room on ground level near the back. When I opened the door, the unpleasant smell was overpowering--I'm not sure what it was, but it did not go away, even with the door and windows open. The room also had a really odd layout--it felt like staying in someone's basement. That said, the owners were accommodating and...

Dear Sir, thank you for your response on Trip Advisor. I would like to report back that during the time of your stay we did have some sewerage blockages. Although we called in the experts that cleaned our pipes inside the yard, we found that the smell just would not go away. After a few angry phone calls to the...

We booked last minute at the guesthouse for a two night stay. The Guesthouse is neat and professionally run by owner Beate. The rooms are large with good mattresses. The bathrooms have a shower with good water pressure. Breakfast buffet has a large selection of cheeses and cold meats. Hot breakfast is served on request at no extra charge. We...
