I spent a couple of nights here whilst transiting in and out of Mozambique. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the guest area is attractively laid out in a courtyard surrounding the small swimming pool. Breakfast is good. The Manager, Armando, was very helpful organising taxis for me and managed to ensure I had an English speaking driver.... More

Right at the heart of Maputo, the guesthouse makes you feel at home. The rooms are fitted with mosquito nets to keep you safe from buzzing mosquitoes. Breakfast is good. You just need to get lunch and dinner outside. But if you arrive late and need food delivered, the staff can help you.

Actually there are 2 Mozaika Guesthouses: the old and the new one. The old one is located Av. Agostinho Neto, with rooms scattered around a very nice garden. The new one is a brand new building without garden located Av. Milagre Mabote, within a walking distance from a very large supermarket (SuperSpar). The Tripadvisor reviews are commenting on both guesthouses... More

We had a pleasant visit in this small guesthouse, we had a room for our adult daughter and a large room/small apartment for ourselves, with a beautiful comfortable bed with great mosquito net and a large ensuite bathroom with a bath. It is close to the road so noise tended to be a bit of a problem, we just put... More

Clean, secure and accessible. They have a decent breakfast too, at a price that's too good for an expensive city like Maputo. They could improve the place by having a restaurant. You have to order dinner deliveries,or eat outside. There are a number of small restaurants within a walking distance (Shoprite and another mall I don't remember the name). Definitely... More

Stayed for 3 nights in different occasions in October. Very clean, spacious and comfortable, with a good mosquito net. The hot water pressure was not great, which is the only reason I hesitate to give this place 5 stars. The gardens are beautiful and the social areas are cosy and tasteful, and make you want to stay longer.

I stayed there for 8 nights in August/September of 2015 and found the place better than average for a USD90/day (otherwise Maputo is very expensive in hotels). The complementary breakfast is not bad at all with limited but decent choices on the buffet. sadly the guest house does not provide lunch, dinner or any other meals and there is nothing... More

We first stayed at Mozaika in 2010 with 4 friends. This time we were travelling with grandchildren. Mozambique has become very expensive, but Mozaika is value for money. The staff were very gracious and helpful.

Stayed at Mozaika 2 for a night during a trip to Maputo. Great price-quality value in a hotel with nice rooms, quite gardens and a nice pool. Breakfast was also good. I will for sure be back to this place in future visits.

They were wonderful! Had some challenges with flights, luggage and taxis and they went out of their way to help in any way they could. I was there two separate nights in different rooms. Room away from the street better as there was less noise. Rooms are very clean, wifi mostly reliable, breakfast lovely and you can sit in the... More
