I stayed here sometime from 12-16 October 2015. This is a nice quiet and reasonable priced accommodation in Maputo. I stayed in the third floor, and my room overlooked the famous pub/restaurant where I had most of my dinners. The breakfast arrangement is very interesting as it is a self service, and there is a variety of options. What's the...

Nice rooms, central part of town, good access to Maputo life but not to the beach. It is a good place if visiting for business. Staff and management are extremely helpful. Can get away with both french and Portuguese (maybe English as well, but did not try)

I found Quiet Corner to be just that, a quiet place in a convenient location. The room I had was on the ground floor, a kitchenette. It was simple, clean, and had the basics. Breakfast is self-service but they provide all that is needed, you just have to let them know. Wifi worked like a charm.

Quiet Corner, near Elvis Bar in Koop, is a really good spot to stay in Maputo. An extremely gracious and helpful owner, terrific staff, safe and secure. They offer provisions for a self-catered breakfast, excellent WiFi, comfortable rooms with reliable bathrooms. Easy access to the airport and all areas of the city. Some very good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

The place is very quiet and lives up to its name. Very friendly and welcoming staff despite the normal language barrier for non-Portuguese speakers. Quite a few of the staff members however, speak English and they made my stay easier. Quite good for the price considering the high cost of hotels in Maputo.

I really enjoyed my stay at the quiet corner. I found the place to be quite clean. They had very good service. I found them to be really friendly and helpful. It was right across from a restaurant and pub. I would definitely visit this place again. The bed was comfortable.

Nice and clean, location is fine, athough not really in the centre of all activities. The owner was super nice. Breakfast is average, but fresh and fine. Would reccomend it for a short pleasant stay in Maputo

Friendly well organised and run guesthouse in a quiet street. Good rooms, showers and toilets. Some shops and restaurants nearby. Transport can be arranged to and from the airport or for local trips. An ARM is a 5 minute walk away.
