I would like to highly recommend this hotel, particularly because of the amazing staff. I feel immensely grateful for their humanity and kindness while providing the various services. Many thanks especially to Adelia, Armando, Adelino and Jose.
The rooms at the Radisson was awesome, I had the apartment sea-view. Waking up to that, propping the door open to the fresh breeze was amazing. The air conditioning was good, the quality of the rooms was great. Rain shower, soft bed wide toilet, deep bathtub and breeze made the trip 75% and the great staff sealed the deal. I would like to address Uisla, Shelia and the breakfast staff. They were A+ when it came to ensuring my breakfast was prompt and the way I like it. They took very good care of me and made my morning. I appreciate their support and to the whole staff. My only takeaway is I wish a bigger gym and more equipment. The gym got packed for a couple of weeks. Secondly, Marlene and Jose were the reception MVPs to include Alexandria from OTC. Any of my evening issues were handled along with Jose taking the time to ensure that my needs were met. The thing about Marlene that I liked was that all I had to do was say it and I never had to worry. Veronica, superb at her job! Ensured my second Radisson stay was 120% better than my first one. Philamando and Rogerio from housekeeping made every time I come to my room look as if its my first day but also cozy just the way I liked it. The overall staff was delightful, helpful and made things easy. The reason why I can point out names is because I dealt with them on a normal basis. There were some staff not mentioned that were just as great in the small experience but I have to point out the ones listed and say THANK YOU for making my stay the best Radisson Experience.…
I had a great stay at the Radisson Blu Maputo. Nice view, friendly and helpful staff, great food (especially the crab and the Saltimbocca😃) and great breakfast. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel is situated in a nice location by the beach.
Using the Hotel for conferences and training means we need a hotel that is sensitive to our needs. We met with a few problems, but the staff went out of their way to help once we found the right people. The hotel itself could definitely do with some work in the catering department for lunch, as there was only salad and boiled vegetables for a vegetarian with a dose of not caring from the kitchen and dining room staff. Booking in also took a rather extensive time period. The hotel shuttle is not free and is per person, not per trip. The driver waits outside the airport building. Be warned we did run into some of the usual extreme attempts to remove our money for corrupt services in the airport. Fortunately, Dario, and Lucas Muchanga were my angels in the conference center and both went above and beyond to ensure I got some food in my tummy. The rooms and breakfast at the hotel are good, the beds comfy, and the facilities are clean. I can give a thumbs up as the pool area is lovely. For a South African paying in Rands, the hotel food is around R200 for a dish of soup and R53 for a cooldrink. What is nice about the location is the beach boardwalk across the busy road. I suggest going a little further though up or down the beach as that section in front of the hotel is full of plastic and not well-kept. The boardwalk is busy and seemed pretty safe except for the occasional nuisance of very persistent hawkers…
I've stayed at Radisson for the fith time this year, the rooms are always clean and neat. the housemaids are very polite specially Rogerio, Filimao and Wasanai. Congratulations the the hotel management for the best team I've ever seen in hotel industry. I recommend the Hotel to my friends and they're also amazed by teams. keep up the good work and see you very soon.
A very memorable experience and a good view from my window on the 10th floor. There is a wide selection of food from their breakfast menu. Rooms are refreshed on time. Contemporary designs in the rooms.
I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Maputo. It's one of the very best! I recommend it highly for its ambience, cleanliness, proximity to the beach, hospitality of the staff, excellent services et al.
I am currently finishing up a 10-week stay at the Radisson Blu in Maputo, and I simply have to sing the praises of the lead waiter at the Filini Restaurant’s Breakfast Bar. This is my second visit to Maputo in two year’s time, and Elves’ professional demeanor, organization skills, and consistent delivery of 5-star service, are second to none. Elves understands the meaning of ‘added value’ and knowing his customer on an individual level. Case in point: Upon my return to Maputo after having departed some 18 months ago, I walked into the Blu Azul restaurant. There was Elves, standing at the podium. He greeted me, by name, with a sincere “Welcome Back, Ms…”. Can you just imagine! Who does that? Elves, that’s who. This review of Elves’ talents and skills would not be complete however, without making mention of his leadership skills. Elves ‘runs the floor’ at breakfast and makes sure everything runs smoothly by seeing to it that every customer need, and his fellow waitstaff’s needs, are met. He does everything from greet guests, to assign tasks, to assist the sous chefs when needed, to making take-away boxes for guests so they can relax over a coffee. Obviously, I could go on. But suffice to say that Elves is worth his weight in any currency you care to name. I hope the Radisson Blu management team knows what they have in him, and compensates him accordingly. Best wishes Elves, much success, and thank you for another memorable stay. Roni J.…
During my recent stay at the Radisson Blu Maputo, which came in the midst of bad luck, due to the non arrival of my suitcase and the mistaken cancellation of my hotel booking by Radisson Blu followed by allocating me a room which was already occupied, I came across a young man by the name ARMANDO, who is at the Concierge desk at the hotel. Armando went out of his way to get me an alternative room within minutes, arranged for my laundry, arranged a cab to a mall for clothes, followed up with the airline for my bag, arranged a pick up of my bag and then have it delivered to my room. I have never experienced this level of hospitality in my 30 years of travel. This 5 Star rating is for the best concierge in the world, Armando
I enjoyed my stay at Radisson Blu in Maputo. Mr. Arlindo Macuacua's customer service was outstanding. The hotel has beautiful views perfect for walks and easy to access other facilities. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
