Attractive riverside location makes up for the shortcomings of the hotel! Certainly worth the experience and always the opportunity for some great music from the occasional Kora player. Ignoring the shortcomings of the rooms (I've had far worse in Europe), worth a visit.

The objective was to stay here a week, but we only spent one night, that was well sufficient. Mosquito haven...you want to risk getting a mosquito born something, this hotel will raise your risk level to this threat. The rooms are not well lit, steel doors and the wifi is horrible, you cannot connect in your room, you have to... More

Nicest thing is indeed the location, on the Niger river and in the safe Cité du Niger neighborhood. Have been here every so often for seminars and workshops but slept there only once before. This time around I saw that the place in in steady decline: rooms have not been refurbished in years. Room was filthy to begin with but... More

We visited this hotel as day visitors to use the pool and have refreshments. For 4000 Sfr you get a towel, a drink and use of the pool for a day. It is well located and about as good as things get in Mali without paying a fortune. The pool is clean but you will be washing weird chemicals out... More

Overall nice location over looking the river but this is Mali and the hotel was tired, poor decor and the basics not covered; shower broken toilet not flushing properly etc. bed was hard but comfy with a good sized mosquito net. Pool nice and big but chlorine too strong. Staff are friendly but longer the stay the worse these the... More

The only positive is the location! On the Niger River in the posh and quiet quartier of Citè Niger. The place is run down and very dirty. Windows in room are filthy and cracked, bathrooms walls haven't been washed in months if ever - covered in dirty splashes, nearly everything is broken or falling off the wall.... Hugely over priced... More

The hotel itself is nothing amazing - the rooms are ok, but a little dark (at least mine was - I was on the first floor). The beds and pillows were very comfortable, but some of the other amenities were lacking (there were few outlets in the room and one in mine did not work, door had to be double... More

This hotel was a good stay for the business traveller, with large rooms, nice scenery along Bamako's Niger River, and good quality food. Although the rooms are old and a bit damp and musty, this is not terribly unusual in West Africa because of the climate. The rooms were clean and very functional however, with a good hot shower (though... More
