The rating for this hotel should really be a minus quantity but it seems that trip advisor doesn't allow for that. Indescribably bad, the type of room that a heroin addict, seeking a last fix before giving up on this world would use as his final resting spot. This was actually booked by the airline, Air Madagascar which is really...

Airport pick up. Very very basic, ie, fridge not working, toilet and shower plumbing doubtful, electric plug came out of wall etc etc Staff friendly, food OK and they have a great contact with airport so can advise you if your flight is suddenly cancelled, brought forward etc as often happens in Madagascar. Nothing at all really wrong with the...

This is my go to airport hotel as it has everything that you could want for an overnight stay if you don;t need to go into the city. The staff are friendly (and can advise on Air Madagascar flight changes even better than the airline office), a restaurant on site, wifi that works and a place to sit out in...

Like many other travelers, we were sent here when our flight was cancelled by Air Madagascar. Although our room was small and shabby, the overall feel of the place was friendly and comfortable. The receptionist speaks English and helped me a lot when I had to book new flights home from Paris, after our original ones were missed. There are...

Atmosphere: Motel-type place. Reception indifferent and slow. Facilities: The room was fine – clean, quiet, and pretty large. Wifi available, along with electricity and hot water 24/24. No complaints. Food: Pretty good actually, nice selection and tasty. Service was fine in the fluorescent-lit, tile floor dining room. Got bread and juice for breakfast the night before to take to our...

Stayed twice. Nice hotel nearer the airport than city centre, useful if you're connecting between international and domestic flights on different days (and used by Air Madagascar when they typically cancel internal flights). Don't expect much help with onward travel arrangements for tourism tours, but they'll phone for taxis, feed and water you well (biggest burger I ever had I...

Was forced to stay here by Air Madagascar after my flight was cancelled twice. Staff and management were ok and friendly, but the rooms were horrible. They emitted a foul stench which stayed on my clothes for a couple of days. Food was complimentary but not much choice for vegetarians. Also wasnt informed that you get a free drink with...

I agree with other reviewers - you get what you pay for. Like others, I was deposited here after Air Madagascar abruptly cancelled my flight (I found out at the airport). It's located less than 5 km from the airport. Despite it's two star hotel rating, it is clean, comfortable, and safe. There was hot water in the shower, a...

We stayed there only for 1 night and 1 day for a transit. Good and nice place to rest, especially around the swimming-pool. There are special menus for Air Madagascar's customers. Not so bad food. There is also a good complimentary shuttle service to and from Ivato airport.

OK so I stayed here because I am on the hunt for a nice little hotel near the Tana airport, for my own business reasons. Here are my impressions: Nice airport transfer, decent car, staff wearing a uniform (18,000 ariary for the transfer - a local taxi would charge about the same). The hotel is in an inconvenient location, quite...
