In general everything was ok. Rooms are ok, price is good, internet is slow but works, staff is friendly, and the patio is really nice, however the thing that I really did not like - is the feeling that the owner does not treat his staff properly. For that reason I felt uncomfortable, and would not stay there again.

I frequently travel through Accra and for the past two years, I always stay at Byblos. It's conveniently located less than 500m from Oxford Street in the heart of Osu, a popular tourist and nightlife destination. The hotel has nice rooms (A/C and hot water) with friendly staff and are reasonably priced, given the location. It has undergone major renovations...

Byblos offers twin rooms at 100 USD and double rooms at 85 USD and its location is very central. You reach almost everything in Osu in a short walking distance. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. This is Ghana though, you don't get a room with the standards you'd get in London or New York. Be...

I stayed in the hotel for a night before I left Ghana. Location: you're basically right on Oxford Street here in Osu which is perfect for catching up with friends and going out for dinner Food: (I'm vegetarian) - the breakfast that was included was fine Room: the room is pretty basic. Mine opened directly onto the restaurant seating area....

I had to leave Byblos Hotel yesterday after one of their staff (probably the cleaner) stole 500 US Dollars that were hidden in my jacket on a shelve in my (locked) room. I immediately filled a complaint with the police. Before that, it took them 2 days to fix my toilets (I had to use the restaurant’s toilets), the room...

I have stayed at Byblos twice now. The first time was for 2 weeks last years and I returned for another 2 weeks very recently. The location is without doubt, perfectly ideal. Everything I needed was in walking distance and taxis pass by the entrance very regularly. There is always someone at the gate there to help out (if the...

Sometimes I really wonder if sharing your experience and giving your opinion helps? Osu hotels seem to get away with lots. At $105 per night for a double...definitely a no-no! My experience was identical to Damo7274s. Broken toilet seat, Leaking shower spray that wet the entire bathroom and made it dangerously slippery. We had to get them to turn on...

Had to stay here for a night and it wasnt at all worth the money spent. Aside from the good proximity to shopping, bars and clubs, this hotel has little else to offer. The rooms are old and poorly maintained. Customer service is average at best. It all comes as a surprise because the street-facing bar downstairs is cosy and...
