I can strongly recommend Ethiopia for both lovers of history/archeology (as myself) and lovers of nature (great national parks and unique birds to observe), not mentioning their fantastic coffee!. The hotels in Addis Abeba and other sites were very good and clean, people are nice, not pushy. Most of the roads are currently under construction, but the internal flights are...

I agree with the previous reviewer and in another city this hotel might get an average but is is in. It is an old fashioned hotel totally without any European flash. So clean non-fancy rooms a bit passed their best, a limited but tolerable menu with tolerable but not the best service. A good breakfast especially the Ethiopian dishes but...

I took a while before writing my review of the Adot Tina as I could not decide how to rate it. If I compare it to hotels in major cities in Europe, it would be, at best, average. But if I consider it in the context of being in Ethiopia I guess it would rate a very good. It reminded...

This was my first trip to Addis and I have to say was a great and memorable trip. I guess the question is what make a good or a great hotel - it's the same as how do you make a house a home? The hotel and its staff made it especially special for us, the staff were first class...

Just a stopover on the way to explore the north, but a little more customer service would have made the stay less austere. Room okay but basic. When asked about bottled water, reception didn't seem to understand (maybe they just didn't?) and ignored my request for them to buy some in. Money-changed without issue. Located down a side lane off...

Stayed at this hotel three times in January for 2-3 days each time. The staff is great. They speak excellent English, and they want to help. As for the lodging, please remember that this is Ethiopia. While the Adot-Tina hotel is promoted as a luxury hotel -- and it is by Ethiopian standards, and it is compared to other places...

The hotel have wifi everiwhere, sometimes you could have issue to log in. The parking for the guests is also important feature here. The rooms are specious and well mentioned. But you can hear all- from the running kid in the koridors to the water pipes in the bathrooms. The staff is polite and helpfull.
