We just returned from a 4 night/5 day stay. Overall, the hotel is clean, friendly and decent. My husband and I booked a double room and were met with 2 twin beds pushed together which seems to be typical for that part of the world. The room was spacious including free wifi, a small refrigerator and decent, warm water pressure....

This hotel is excellently located for walking in Djibouti City. The manager is personable, friendly, accommodating. When I became ill during our one-week stay, he had fresh tea and limes sent to my room. The daily breakfasts included fresh orange juice, fresh coffee, a clean cafe. The rooms were clean and roomy; the hot water never failed.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable and I think my visit to Djibouti city would have been not as good had I not stayed on the square. The hotel itself is very dated looking in an early 80s business hotel kind of way, but I'm not too bothered about that. The staff ranged from the ultra surly man who...

This property is very old styled french building. Unfortunately there was no elevator in the hotel. The reception is one first so makesure you do some workout with your bags. Dont expect any other thing extra other then breakfast. The plus point is it is close to city center.

Its is good location hotel. Everything is near. All restaurants are in the same area. Hotel cleanliness is ok. Rooms are spacious but lights are very dim. Sleep quality not very good because full night you can hear voices of adjacent club called minilik. Staff is very friendly. Pricewise its average.

This wonderful hotel made our stay in Djibouti. Located in a wonderful spot in the old city, it offers clean spacious rooms with all the commodities. The beds are very comfortable and the both wifi and air-con work without problems. But without a doubt the best asset of this hotel is the people that work in it: kind, warm and...

PRO. Nice clean, decent sized well lit room with many electrical outlets. Big bathroom, large counter, good water pressure - only cold water but it's warm enough. Good AC. Room also with small refrigerator, cooker and sink. Good wifi in room (note Skype and Viber are blocked in Djibouti, but can be accessed if you setup a free VPN). Very...

It is true that the hote lis a bit outdated. However, the rooms are quite big, and I appreciated a cooking section, although they seemed to have forgotten about the necessary utensils. There is a tv and the curtains really shut the light out My compliments go to the staff, they attended to every need and very quickly. My arconditioning...

One of about half-a-dozen hotels located on or around the central main square in this city, all priced roughly similar, about 100 usd a night, depending on room type. The l'Europe appears to be not less than 40 years's old, predating independence, but wouldn't call it colonial style. More like generic 60's. Not new, but good. Corner room on third...
