We had amazing time in Vivi Hotel. The owner- fantastic lady, very helpful and friendly. We had beautiful room, which was cleaned up by staff every single day. Gym is very big and they play nice music. They helped us also to get beach towels. We had breakfast at the roof top and they cooked fantastic catchupa on our request. Wi-fi very strong, no any issues, space for car available Location of hotel is top- 5minuts to the beach Staff on reception and staff on dinning area very polite and helpful. They greet us every single day with big smile. Thank you for looking after us:) Paulina& Danielson

Rude receptionist upon arrival, rude owner named Antonio who refused to help with the booking complications. Gym extremely loud And felt completely lost walking up and the flight of narrow stairs like I'm in a morgue. Other places way nicer where I dont feel like I'm in living in the locker rooms of a gym

So Where do I begin in explaining how horrible an experience I experienced inside this hotel. I made an online resovation and received confirmation everything was ok. I was currently in brava and once the confirmation arrived I purchased a ferry ticket to take the 6.5 hour journey to the hotel. After 1.5 hours I received another confirmation with the price been three times higher then the original price. With weak signal out at sea s I was taking a ferry as it's the quickest and cheapest way to travel from Brava (there is no airport) I called the hotel but didnt have time to talk properly with the weak signal and the multiple people around me with sea sickness making alot of noise. However I proceeded once in Praia (Santiago) to the hotel thinking there must be an explanation. Once there I was told the price was higher (around three times) and I could not take a room unless I paid the higher price. Having explained I had travelled 6.5 hours by ferry to be here and paying alot of money for a taxi I was in complete shock. I was told by the receptionist that its MY fault and that how could I think the price of the room would be as cheap as the price I saw. I explained I had no idea and normally a price is the price especially with confirmation email and also showed the confirmation (may I add now the receptionist refused to give me her name) and continued to say that this is not their fault and infact my problem. At this moment I have no room and of course after a journey of 6.5 hours which is actually the time it takes via plane to my home country in England I was in extreme shock and also worried because my friend had also made a reservation and would have the same problem. I asked there and then if I could speak with the boss who is called Antonio. The receptionist called him three times and he did not appear at all to talk with me. I was not offered an apology and infact completely ridiculed when all I was doing was coming to Praia to buy medicine that they do not sell in Brava for my child. I am completely hurt by the behaviour I experienced today and hope that no one ever experiences treatment like I did. Antonio the manager after me waiting for 15 minutes refused to show and I had no other option but to ask for the hotel to call me a taxi so I could rethink about my options. I feel hurt by this and also cannot understand how a place that should be professional and considerate literally chucked me into the streets. All I wanted to do was pay the price I had seen using the confirmation email I had received like in any normal case. I was also told by the receptionist it's my fault for booking the hotel so last minute but however sometimes life throws us lemon and for my children I will take any journey at any hour. I wish you all the best at this hotel. Merey Christmas and a happy new year.

Experience was not good. The gymnasiun on the first floor terrible. Lot of noise. Breakfast poor. No elevator and too many stairs. Only the room and personal ok. Clean and confortable bed. Phone room did not work. A lot to improve. First step: separate the gymn from the hotel.

enjoyed this hotel and the staff, they were very helpful and accommodating. Although I didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel since I was with my Tia, I enjoyed it still and the gym was the biggest selling point for me because it was very equipped and I will be back later this year. Obrigado pa tudo!

My husband and I recently stayed here while visiting our daughter who is a missionary in Palmarejo. The rooms were very neat and clean and a short walk to the mall and several restaurants. Friendly staff and a very good continental breakfast buffet.

We stayed here on our first and last nights on Santiago island. The hotel is in a residential district west of the main plateau area but the sea and shops weren't too far away. The rooms were a clean and a good size and there was a well-laid out breakfast. The nearby Pensao Benfica does good evening meals. No complaints.

What a charming little gem! It's located just a block away from the ocean and within walking distance to food, shopping and entertainment. With its very helpful and friendly staff, you can't ask for much more! Most of their employees do not speak much English, but they certainly do their best and with that much charm, you don't need language to communicate! Loved our stay especially since it was so reasonably priced.

I requested a free airport transfer, both when I made my booking & by e-mail. I received no reply, but my chauffeur (the hotel owner, in fact) was waiting with a name sign as I exited the airport. LT Aparthotel is located on a cul-de-sac in Palmarejo Baixo, along with competitors Praiano Aparthotel & Vivi Hotel. The middle-of-nowhere location is the hotel's biggest drawback. Having said that, Pensão Benfica (on the corner) has a good restaurant, while Praia Shopping (Mall) is within easy walking distance. My suite consisted of a spacious living room, a separate bedroom & a modern bathroom. Everything looked spanking new & was immaculately clean. The display of towels, folded to look like stuffed animals, was a nice touch. The suite didn't have a sea view, though – considering the position of the building, that would be impossible! The staff is very friendly, though their English needs improving. If you get lost in translation, Google Translate can come to your rescue, thanks to the free WiFi. After a week's stay, I was awarded a complimentary very late check-out (9.30 PM!) & a free shuttle back to the airport.
