Highly recommend this hotel! Rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious with modern fittings throughout. Good restaurant, great food, and the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from a nice beach - good swimming spot! We were well looked after by the manager and his team, a very enjoyable stay.

After a few days in Cape Verde some friends invited me to try something new: A Restaurant where you pick your own fish and they will make your way. What a delight! The best fish I ever ate in my life! The owner was very nice and made me feel at home actually, the whole staff was very nice and professional and knew exactly what they were doing! Everything fell into place; from the beginning till the end was a superb experience. In my view O Pescador is a 10, all the way! Thank you everyone for making my experience unforgettable!

Nice Hotel with an excellent restaurant. We had a nice, clean, modern room in the upper level with view to the "Plateau" and the ocean. The service is great, staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. This hotel is highly recommended.

Nice hotel with ah rest service. Very well located in second row but with a nice view from the upper level. Good value and compared to Pestana trópico, far better and much cheaper. Reccomended. Rooms spacious and restaurant with nice fish. Some construction on the side but not much noise.

The hotel is ideally located: not too far from "Plateau" where all the shops and tourists are, but not to close either. It is in fact located in the area where all the embassies are, by the sea, right next to another hotel and a massive complex being built by a Macau company. Despite a couple of issues which were quickly fixed and with the right attitude (ex. sink clogged), the stay was delightful. Excellent food, smily staff, super convenient rooms, sun deck, small pool, beers and food you can order there and postcards you can buy (I would suggest to also sell stamps). The guys recommended a tour which took us all around Santiago, for a wonderful sightseeing and they were very nice and informative. A part from the hotel, you have a few excellent restaurants around the place as well, more than you can choose from. The beds were super clean, rooms modern, cable TV was excellent (no local channel though) and no noise at night. I tried the laundry service and was very happy with it as well.
