Maybe one of the best priced apart hotel on the entire island of Praia. The rooms are very large and include a well appointed kitchenette with microwave, a mid-size refrigerator, a coffee water boiler for coffee/tea and a set of dishes. There is a 4 chair dining table as well as a sofa with a center table for the seating area and a small flat screen TV set.
The bed room is separated from the seating/dining/kitchen section. Two split air conditioners, separately, cool the bed room and the seating/dining/kitchen areas.
The only small problem is that the bathroom is too tight for an average person and may even be impossible to use by heavy or large body guests.
The hotel and the rooms are very clean with marble tiles on the entrance and hallway floor.
The hotel is possibly one of the quietest area of this part of Praia. A French restaurant is adjacent to the hotel and serves a delicious breakfast (included) for the guests. A 24 hour Pizza house is located on the other side of the hotel. The sea (but no beach) is at just 200 feet from the guest house and there is a large paved pathway running almost 1/3 of mile toward a well appointed shopping center which has two restaurants, cinemas. The beach is at only 100 yards from the shopping center.
I would definitely recommend this small, clean and very quite and pleasant Apart Hotel to anyone visiting Praia, especially so when the personnel is among the kindest and most welcoming I have ever met in such types of guesthouses.
Best value for money.

Maybe 200 meters from the sea and walking distance from local beaches, this is a pleasant hotel as a base for a stay on the island: rent a car and travel around. A very good and excellent managed restaurant next door with local and French dishes. The management of the hotel are Cabeverdians from the Netherlands, so the standard of service is European, the receptionists all speak at least one foreign language, most speak English, French and of course Portuguese. They can provide airport shuttle, car rental and plane tickets.

The rooms have a large living area, a bedroom, bathroom, airco, tv, telephone, kitchen, microwave. The rooms in front have a view of the ocean. The bathroom is small but there are plans to enlarge these. Also maybe next year a roof terrace for a beautiful ocean sunset.

+ large room, excellent staf
- small bathroom, sparse equipment and lighting

This is a great option for various types of stay, especially if you're tired of the standard hotel rooms. The place is new and some features aren't yet fully up and running (e.g. wifi at the time of our stay). The rooms are actually apartments that have the basic equipment for your stay, but don't expect luxury. The bed is large enough and new, as is all the furniture. The TV has only local programs, yet you're hopefully not there to watch TV. The city is some 10ish minutes taxi ride away (always 200 in local currency, for years, any city route). The beach is close by, but you're unlikely to go for a swim in that part of town anyhow. The staff is very nice and pleasant, beyond professional and they can help with things to do in town. All in all, it's a good choice for the Praia stay and certainly a good value for money.

Large 2 room suites in a quiet buildind, 100 m from the seaside.
Clean, well run, very convenient.
The area is about 2 km from the Plateau (the city center) and 1 km from Sao Antonio and Quebra Canela beach (the other areas of interest). Meanwhile, there are some small groceries and restaurants around.
Nb. no lift, so might not suit elderly or incapacitated travellers.

Hotel meets basic needs: has a kitchenette and living room with ice-cold air conditioning (a little too cold for some.). Close to the ocean and friendly, helpful staff, restaurant nearby. Downside is that It's a little dark and dingy with a teeny tiny bathroom. it's nothing to write home about but will meet your basic needs if you are staying for a night or two.

I have no idea why, but towels are starched there and scratch skin. Location is also not so good - people are not recommending to walk around after sunset. Foreign credit cards are not accepted for payment.

This hotel is in a residential area of Praia and there's only one restaurant in all the neighbourhood. Breakfast is not included in the price and we walked for about 200 meters to find a small supermarket and we were told by the nice lady that the area is extremely dangerous. We payed 130 euro for a one bedroom apartment away from it all, wifi was not working (as usual in cap verde) and the only window of the apartment facing a abandoned field

This hotel which has a kitchen and a large living room is awesome. All staffs are friendly and can speak English.
When you visit Praia, you can't find people easily who can speak English. However hotel staffs will help you whatever you want.
I am staying for 6 days from 23 to 28 Nov.
Especially Mr. Johnny will support you to rent a car and buying tickets for moving other islands.
Actually I wanted to stay here just for 2days l. But I decided to stay more, because of clean rooms and kind staffs.
The restaurant next to the hotel is also awesome. Breakfast is one of best meals in Cabo Verde.
If you want to visit here, this hotel can help you kindly.

This hotel included a kitchen and entertainment area which made it a perfect combination of hotel and living environment. Rooms were made every morning and fresh towels given by room service. Great desk service. Wifi connection and a great restrauant right next door! A Beach and beautiful shopping center minutes away which are all in a very safe neighborhood. I was scrptacle about traveling to Cape Verde but this hotel made my first visit to Cape Verde safe and enjoyable!! Highly recommended, price is better than the high end hotel and the quality is amazing and the value of a bed and breakfast is unbeatable! Highly recommended!!

Stayed here for a couple of nights and Johnny helped me with everything. He picked me up, showed me around with tips for dinner and places to see. He helped me getting tested and made sure he would offer a 5 star service. He told me a lot about the island, people and much more. Johnny - Abrigado
