Absolute impeccable hotel wit female staff so beautifull that you could spend all day long to watch them smile. The bathroom inspires you, the beds are comfortable and the airco works perfectly. The breakfast is very good

Nice modern Hotel with excellent rooms and very good restaurant. On arrival from the airport, we were pleasantly surprised by the look of the hotel. The check in was smooth and without fuss. Shown to our room taking our cases by a very helpful gentleman. Unfortunately having come from a two bed apartment Santa Maria Sal, we were feeling a little cramped in this average size double room. I returned to reception to ask if they had anything else. I was offered a suite for a bit more per day. They showed me three suites with slightly different configurations. I choose the one on the second floor with two balcony's. We had a sofa, chair, TV in a separate area for the bed and a lovely bathroom, and we moved in. Really good staff, beds made every day and changed during our week stay. Bathroom towels change every day. Now in the interest of eco tourisms I think they could adopt the now accepted, to change towels left on floor or in bath /shower. Breakfast was v good with continental and cooked, scrambled and fried eggs and sausage, Great fish restaurant. Maybe because we stayed week for us as Europeans two nights of fish was enough we could have done with some chicken, pork, on the menu. Staff at the bar and in the restaurant were excellent. Oh and they didn't charge extra for the suite. Ok when I booked looking at the map / location, sea. beach, road, hotel great. Unfortunately the Chinese have brought the beach and the island and are building a Casino, Hotel, and parking, shopping complex opposite the hotel. Now at the moment it wasn't too bad as the best beaches are a short walk away any way, and the building work is only just out of the ground, so the view from our second floor balcony's out to sea was not impeded. The only problem was the traffic noise early in the morning although there was double glazing. After the first night I was ready to move some ware else, my wife because she loved the hotel, persuaded me to purchase some ear plugs. That worked. TV needs BBC World News channel, and there was a shortage of wardrobe, drawer space. Had to use the desk. I fear for the hotel because of the development but on the other hand it could be the making of it, with people staying to visit the Casino etc.
