Great place to be relax and get some quiet time. Access to the pools and gym and the view of lake Tanganyika will make you appreciate nature and creation. A good place for meetings and conferences. The Terrace restaurant is amazing too, and will meet your expectations.

Spent four nights here on business with ministries. Hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. Room well cared for. Internet excellent. Main problem is that they don't take credit cards yet. You will need cash or other direct payment options.

The hotel Safari gate is pretty modern and clean. The hotel has free WiFi but it doesn't always work in the rooms. There is really good Air Conditioning in the rooms and there is also a gym. The staff is really friendly and there is a restaurant by the lake that has pretty decent food. The fruit plate for breakfast...

There few good hotels in Bujumbura and if your visit coincides with a public holiday, getting hotel room may be difficult as the Government likes inviting neighbour states officials who travel with huge delegations ending up stretching hotel bookings. Good to find out if your travel dates are coincidig with such dates. Hotel Safari Gate is at shores of Lake...

Like another posting, we came to the hotel in the late evening and asked for water, but the reception didn't have any and the restaurant was closed. The food...

A pretty and friendly hotel but overpriced and clueless about what service means. I got there after 1am and an 18 hour flight with 2 connections. I was extremely thirsty upon arrival and out of mineral water but the reception desk refused to fetch water from the restaurant because it was closed. I spent a very unpleasantly short night because...
