the check in was not good. it takes a long time and the receptionist tend to lose focus by doing many things at a go. Receptionists disturbing each other is the order of the day and customers a kept for a very long time there.

Have been a regular here for some years - and have tried others in town. Went back recently, mostly unchanged, i.e. not really 5 star and a bit worn, but front desk service, previously poor, had improved noticeably.

The best hotel in town even if it doesn't achieve the standards of a 5 stars hotel Everything is clean, people are nice, there is a spa and a gym but the lobby is very dark and the restaurants have barely no day light. The service at the chinese restaurant is so slow !!!

The location is quite tranquil and the service is good. The rooms are clean and comfortable and feel homely with comfortable furniture. The menu though needs more variety both on the 24 hour snack bar as well as the main buffet restaurant. Even though the food is made well, after 3 days you run out of variety.

The Grand Palm is my favourite choice whenever I visit Gaborone. I find this establishment to be very Cosy and comfortable. Very neat and tidy with decent size rooms. Breakfast was a breeze with a nice selection on the menu. Staff are friendly and ever ready to help. Please consider your rates as these are a little higher for similar...

Excellent Hotel with excellent restaurants and facilities. Can recommend this hotel to any business traveller. Very good restaurants on the premises that serves good quality food. Be advised that alcohol is extremely expensive.

Arrived late at night. Front desk staff were very polite. Room was lovely but A/C was really loud. Changed rooms was no problem. Slept with window open and didn't realize that there were baboons outside. Luckily I had no visitors. Steak restaurant great, breakfast room offers a wide choice. All in all not a bad little hotel.

The room was spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, while eating on the balcony of the dining room - one should be cautious from monkeys that jump around and snatch stuff. The restaurant Beef Baron at the ground floor is very nice, good meat with a nice selection of South African wines.

“The restaurant receptionist is not focused on customer requirements, but is more focused on doing what they have been told to do. One should be able to choose a drink after picking a meal to ensure that the drink goes with the meal. But you are asked to pick a drink upon entering, as if it is part of the buffet.”
