Everything about our visit to Imbabala was outstanding - from the smiling driver greeting us in the beginning to the final glance over our shoulders as we (reluctantly) departed. The service was excellent - warm, welcoming, efficient, unobtrusive, helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean and we loved hearing the hippos grunting from down below near the river...

I stayed at this lodge in the bush with my tour group. John and Sarah were wonderful with exceptional service. The rooms were quite nice, and mine had an inside shower which was lovely. It was located in the bush with a nice property, and baboons and Impala were visiting us almost daily.

This is one of those rare times you wish you could rate with six circles. A great place to do safari drives in the national park. Minimal tourists. Loads of wildlife. Staff will also take you on the Zambezi on a boat to view that vantage. Hosts Sarah and John are just the best. Guide Richard is clever, funny and...

We stayed at Imbabala for 3 nights and could not have been happier with the experience. All of the staff, especially the camp manager at the time, Sue, were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and the food was fantastic. I love and utilize Trip Advisor for all my travels. In most instances it is very accurate. In this case, it did not do justice to this slice of heaven. The lodge and grounds are beautiful -- truly amazing. All bungalows overlook the river and provide a sense of community with other guests and staff, while maintaining privacy. The hospitality...
