Everyone at Ilala was very welcoming, gracious, and helpful throughout our stay. Our meals (breakfast and dinner) were wonderful and we enjoyed the grounds, pool and our room. Most impressive - the management team really went above and beyond in showing concern and helping me when I fell and dislocated my shoulder on the bridge between Zimbabwe and Zambia. They...

Thank you for your review and naming our various staff who assisted you in your unfortunate accident whilst visiting the area. We trust you are on the road to recovery now and hope you at least had time to experience some memories of our wondeful Victoria Falls. Hope to one day see you back at the Hotel!

We'd eaten well at Ilala in the past, but this was our first stay and it was brilliant. This is the closest hotel to the falls, just a few minutes' leisurely walk. Our very pleasant room was on the lower floor with french doors to a small patio and the gardens. Service was faultless and staff went the extra mile,...

Welcome back to Vic Falls and glad you decided to stay with us! I'm sorry that our dinner didnt live up to your expectations and wil certainly pass this feedback onto the chef. The good news is our extension is complete and open so hopefully you choose to stay with us again and experience these rooms.

We stayed at Ilala Lodge for two nights. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean with pleasant attentive staff. Service was excellent. We were in the new block where the rooms were spacious and well equipped and as a family had adjoining rooms overlooking the gardens towards the falls. The restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner (didn't have lunch...

Spent four nights at this beautiful hotel at the end of our Africa trip. The location couldn't be better - within walking distance of the Falls, the Lookout Cafe (zip wires etc or a place just to chill with a cocktail), the Victoria Falls hotel if you want afternoon tea, all the shops and restaurants in town. The Palm restaurant...

Thanks you for staying with us and glad you enjoyed our services. The Kudu Wellington is one of our most popular dishes on our dinner menu. The location of our property, which borders with the National Parks, allows one to wlak to the Victoria Falls within 5 minutes. Trust you travelled saftely home.

The hotel public areas are very nice the rooms are definitely a little tired but certainly not a terrible choice, there is a bar, restaurant and pool / spa on the property and it is around a 10 minute walk to Victoria Falls Park. The hotel staff were very nice. However bar staff and restaurant help were not very attentive...

Thank you for your honest review of Ilala Lodge. We will certainly look into the way our Bloody Mary's are made and improve on this! I apologise that our staff were not attentive enough during your stay and I will again ensure this is passed onto our waitering staff. The good news is that we have had quite a bit...

Thank you for your review of Ilala Lodge. Maintenance issues are our top priority so i will certainly look into the issues raised about the paint and rectify these. The warthog are a daily feathure to Ilala Lodge and recently have been joined by a herd of elephant at night.

We had 2 nights here at the end of our South African trip. Our section was brand new, the landscaping was still being up in. Warthogs were busy chewing up the newly planted grass but the highlight was 8 elephants out for a late night snack of nearby trees who found the new garden plantings extra tasty. Couldn't help but...
