I stayed at Vic Falls backpackers for almost every weekend over the course of five months volunteering outside of Victoria Falls. The staff are genuine, nice, helpful, and good people. The cook, Adrian, makes some excellent food (make sure to try the Traditional Brai). The rooms are clean with good mosquito nets, just make sure to leave them down once...

A true godsend for everybody traveling on budget around Victoria Falls! The hostel is very well-kept (except for rooms, at least mine, see below) and pleasant. The atmosphere is laid back - created by people who are happy to be there. It has a small swimming pool in the middle of the common space, the latter serves as a perfect...

We stayed for 3 weeks, the staff are amazing, Adrian, Jay, Blessing, Michelle, the cleaning ladies sorry I cannot remember all their names, Richard. Wonderful people. Tracy the owner super lady. The rooms are great, the food cooked by Adrian lovely. A truly wonderful experience. We cried when we left, the impact these people had on us was wonderful. It...

Victoria falls backpackers is a lovely and calm place for an overnight stay, it has a small outdoor pool, campfire (where visitors a invited to dine for $12 pp), kitchen, friendly, social staff and an outgoing dog Rosy. However you have to pay $3 per day for wifi, breakfast is not included, no soap, no tower which seems to be...

Vic Falls Backpackers should be given credit for still delivering decent accomodation, food and friendly service despite the hurdles thrown at them by Mugabe's wildly incompetent government. I stayed with them in May while travelling solo from Malawi to SA and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. Accomodation is basic but comfortable, the food was tasty and the staff were...

So we stayed here for 4 nights in August. On first appearance the hostel is lovely, there is a swimming pool, fire pit and jungle themed communal area. Its a nice place to sit and chill and they have up kept this part very well. When we arrived we planned to go into an 8 bed dorm, however when we...

The place is nice and food is good. We didn't sleep really well because the mosquito's net is not properly installed and it is extremely annoying while sleeping. You can't pay with credit card. First day we were told by the workers that it would be great to pay in € the last day. When we went to pay, they...

I stayed for three nights at Vic Falls Backpackers. I enjoyed the simplicity and the character of the place, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped me to participate in variety of activities, and to make the best of my time in Vic Falls in a very smooth way. The room was fine but be prepared for the...

This place is what the word 'funky' was coined for! The garden is littered with sulptures, water features & mobiles & there's colourful artwork everywhere. Practically, the dorm I stayed in was basic & very small but clean & did the job. Prices are a lot higher for all accommodation in Vic Falls than Livingstone on the Zambian side of...
