OK it was cheap but it felt like a nightmare. We had organised a pick up from the airport via Simba and received emails to let us know it was all booked but when we arrived no one was there. We phoned and they told us they didn't know we were coming that day as they hadn't checked the computers...

I stayed at Simba Harare on a work scouting trip and personal vacation. The owners were absolutely lovely and made me feel very comfortable during my stay in Zim. I was a lone traveller, but they ensured my safety and provided great recommendations for how to spend my time in Harare. The staff was equally as lovely--very kind and helpful,...

Following a last minute visit to Zimbabwe for a tourism conference my colleagues and I only managed to get accomodation at Simba Lodge. The staff were very friendly and the owner made us a delicious local meal. Rooms are very comfortable with great air conditioning which keeps the rooms very cool considering how hot Zimbabwe can get.

The staff from the very first moment until the last were very helpful and enhanced the stay. My time spent in Zimbabwe was short so I was not looking for extravagance and more a place to lay my head. I did not have any complaints, I knew on my budget not to expect much and ended up receiving much more....

We were very disappointed by our stay here. The rooms were very dirty. The decor and furniture were very dated and all jumbled in. Breakfast was very limited and we had to explain to the staff how to cook. They did allow us to cook in the kitchen which was welcome, but we regretted seeing the actual cleanliness with which...

I arrived in Zimbabwe, Harare Airport as scheduled, exactly 2145hrs and we were out of the airpot around 2215. We had to get our visas at the port of entry. We had arranged with Jorn Stovring for a minibus to collect us and that the person collecting us should carry and display a 'SIMBA LODGE' banner so we can easily...

Well, these guests were afraid to take the taxi send to collect them from the fact the driver had rasta hair. They were afraid to enter the hotel. They were afraid to relate to the manager and say their opinion. Their review is so obvious unbalanced and unfair, that ppl can judge themselves.

From the reviews and the price we were expecting a well run Bed and Breakfast. We were sadly disillusioned. On arrival there was no one to meet us - we had to knock and knock to wake somebody up (We had informed Simba Lodge of our flight number and time of arrival) and then the lady who opened up had...

My family and I stayed over at the Simba Harare B&B for four nights. It was a very wonderful experience. We felt at home as the owners of the B&B and the maids made us feel very comfortable. We wished we could stay longer. We came to Harare for an event and we were assisted with settling in, finding our...

I've traveled around Africa quite a bit and Simba was one of the greatest places I've stayed--Jorn and his wife Jane are warm people--the staff is very nice--and, best of all were the evening dinners where people from all over Africa and the world gathered for great discussions and stories. It's a bit north of town, but there's a shopping...

“Ask for rooms, there are different sizes.”
Bresemann, 22 May 2015 | Read review
“We stayed in room 7- I think we got the less than stellar room as it was two single beds and we requested a double. The floor in the bathroom sunk a bit when you walked on it and the shower head was broken. One of the beds was so uncomfortable I woke up with a sore back and neck three mornings straight but we didn't bother to change rooms as we would have had to pay more and there were guests coming and going so we weren't sure of availability. We didn't expect much considering what we paid, but it would have been nice to have a room that was a bit more looked after.”
