This was a comfortable lodge with fabulous views of the Serengeti plain from all the good sized rooms. We were there 3 nights. There was a fridge in each room and tea making facilities but No ceiling FAN! We were here in May but it was still hot overnight. There is a small pedestal fan, it was difficult to manoeuvre...

We stayed in early May for a day in 2 floor suites with a bathtub right next to the enormous bed and each floor had its own balcony. Personnel took good care of us and was always available. During dinner time, the room was cleaned and sprayed for mosquitos (no smell when we returned) and the bed made ready. Restaurant...

We had a misunderstanding at the start of our stay to do w ground transportation prob because we hadn't done enough research and so thought we cd organise our own trip to Serengeti. If you have time and patience, maybe you can too. Another time I'd go thru a tour company as there are many. And it is much much...

Fabulous hotel, fantastic service (all the staff were just amazing), delicious food, amazing views over the Serengeti, lovely big bright clean and spacious rooms that overlook the gardens where we saw giraffe, elephants and dik diks, delightful. Great pool as well. Nice welcome touch with fire in garden at night and welcome drinks. Prefect base for exploring the Serengeti. Only...

This hotel was located deep within the Serengeti so it's a bit of a drive to get to. It's positioned on a hillside and in the mornings, you can expect monkeys on your patio. Giraffes, impala and dik diks roamed around right outside our window, small fruit bats took shelter in the trees and a resident bush nested there as...

This lodge looks a little but like something out of The Flintstones cartoon😊 Having said that we were spoilt with a room for newly weds and in fact it was a duplex room. Fantastic facilities and very big both upstairs and downstairs...it was quite a way from the main reception but that was ok so long as you kept a...

A bit dated but lovely old hotel, the rooms had a fantastic view of the Serengeti and if you were lucky the monkeys joined you on your balcony. Beautiful pool with again great view, very attentive and helpful staff (in particular waitress Anna- she was fantastic!), delicious buffet meal choices for breakfast and dinner, hotel provided great lunch boxes too....

We came for an 8 days vocation, and have been staying in several Sopa lodges, all very high end. In most lodges they really try their best to give an excellent customer service, but this place went the extra mile when the Chef came to us at dinner and asked us what we would like to have in our lunch...

The Serengeti Sopa Lodge is a very nice hotel. The view from the rooms and the bar/terrace/pool is priceless! If you're lucky you can see giraffes, monkeys, impalas and many more. There are also a lot of monkey around the hotel! The rooms are very spaceous, clean and comfy! The hotel Staff is great, they are very kind and helpful!...

This was a beautiful lodge in the middle of the Serengeti. The rooms had balconies overlooking the park and there was a nice bar area with a lovely view. The rooms were comfortable, the food was good and the service excellent.
