We had stayed here in 2008 on our first trip to Tanzania and loved it. The setting is fabulous, in the middle of the Serengeti, frequented by monkeys, buffalo and lions. The room under heavy canvas tenting was comfortable and stylish. The food was very...More
I was actually pleasantly surprised with the tented accommodation, the tents had everything you needed in the for a couple of nights stay. I was surprised to find that we were right in the middle of nature with all animals walking through the tent in...More
Welcomed with warm hospitality, the Mawe tent camp staff is accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. The tents are clean and (almost) like a hotel. WiFi is limited (a good thing in my book!). Food is pretty good especially the box lunches! Relax at the camp or...More

Very good tent camp
You feel like being in an apartment although an inprovement area is the lunch box(quite repetitive) but you have a chance to tell them why to put in/exclude.
All in all a place to recommend
We mainly have the type G in our properties. But also, we would be happy to provide a multi-plug which you can request for at the reception and return on check out. Looking forward to have you staying with us.

It depends on on how you are getting to the Camp. If you are flying there, the camp is inside the park. because you are inside the park, the main activity is game drives. We have very knowledgeable game drive drivers that will be sure to take you to all the best spots and ensure you get the most of the game drive.
However, if going to the camp by road, there are several stops that you will make along the way. One notable stop with be an over night stop at Ngorongoro and the Ngorongoro crater is one of the best spots in Tanzania. Also, you will stop at the Olduvai gorge another must see spot. Hope that helps, if you need more information, we would be happy to help.
