The Kirawira Tented Camp is truly amazing, with superb views of the Serengeti plains, extraordinarily well appointed and tastefully decorated tents (on raised hardwood-floor platforms), top-notch service, and great food. Kudos to Serena for such a feat in such a remote bush! We stayed two nights and enjoyed great game viewing (although the end of our day was spoiled by...

An excellent camp to catch the migration ! Superb setting.. excellent room if you are luck the sighting can be right at the comfort of your room The resident game is also very good. However its not the ideal place if you are looking for a tented acco.

We have an amazing time at Kirawira Serena tented camp. I & my guests went to this luxury tented camp in the western corridor of the Serengeti for our sumptuous lunch, the service was above my expectations. The spectacular view from the lounge was amazing added something to say about the camp. will highly recommend for breakfast & lunch during...

I spent a few nights at Kirawira last May as part of a colleague's retirement trip. It was an amazing place, with great food, excellent service and a real feeling of being in the wild, with more luxuries than I could have imagined in a tented camp. As evening approached we could hear hyenas nearby, and outside our tent in...

We only spent 1 night here on our 2 week safari but everyone wished we could have stayed longer. The food was great and the staff seemed especially friendly which is saying something as all the Kenyan and Tanzanian staff tripped over themselves to serve us well. The pool was great with its little waterfall. The way the main tented...

A group of 6 friends visited this Lodge in October for 2 nights during a safari through Kenya and Tanzania. This was the only tented camp that we stayed in so I can’t compare the experience to other camps. The entrance to the tent is off the ground so you have to climb stairs to get to the deck which...

By the time we reached Kirawira we had already experienced and been impressed by a couple of tented camps but this one was the best. The reception/ lounge/bar was beautiful. hardwood floors with Persian rugs, chintz and velvet covered furniture and let's not forget the crystal chandeliers. To cap it off a beautiful view across the Serengeti. It doesn't get...

This is an elegant tented camp, situated overlooking the western corridor of the Serengeti. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and very private. Service excellent. We awake in the middle of the night to hear loud crunching and munching alongside our tent. A couple of water buffalo were having a midnight snack on our doorstep! Very attentive staff and...

Could not believe the reception tent and champagne that greeted us. Staff was gracious. Our tent was elegant with wood floors, marble top vanities in the bath, separate tiled toilets and showers, canopied beds. The food was superb. Homemade ice cream every day. Loved the sounds of the animals and the views from our porch were incredible

Set in a spectacular location further to the west, meaning a less crowded experience from other vehicles. The tents are high quality and towards the upper end of what you would expect from a luxury tented experience. Very well fitted out, with wonderful shower and bathroom. Food is to a good standard. The migration had passed through by the time...
