The man in charge is in charge. :-) Very professionally run but super friendly. These folks want you to have a great experience and you do. The food was the best we experienced on our 16 day safari. Their charging area is great and even provided our vehicle with a charging strip one day. Bought a very reasonably priced but tasty bottle of wine for some evening star viewing and then they saved the balance for the following night. Heartily recommend this wonderful safari outpost in the Serengeti National Park.
Very nice tented camp to stay at in northern Serengeti that is close to the crossings. Food was great, service wonderful, and so cool to hear the wildebeest all night long. Even had to zip up the canvas all the way as I got myself nervous of predators lurking during the night! Had a beautiful sun downer watching the sunset with a campfire!
It is what it is, a tended camp in the middle of the Sabana. The service is very nice. It was a great experience in our Safari in Serengeti, the best park in Tanzania, during our honeymoon. The shower is with a water cube, but is fine. The best, the sunset, with a beer, in front of the fireplace before dinner or the sunrise with a coffee.
This was an amazing experience. People seem to be scared of staying in a tent in the Serengeti. They are missing out, the Kati Kati camp was very comfortable and welcoming. The culinary staff prepared some amazing meals which I was impressed. The views were amazing and the night sky is unlike any other. Highly recommend anyone to stay at this camp. Very very nice. David did a great job at taking care of us while we stayed here.
Spacious room with beautiful view of sunset. Interaction sitting around the fire before dinner. Staff a little inconsistent with some super friendly and others quite dismissive. It seems that they really work long and not excessive hours while manning the showers and guiding guests by flashlight on the paths. A lot of food, but dinner doesn’t cater much for vegetarians. I liked the bucket shower mechanism for a bush experience. The camp has a lot of potential, but needs a little more development in terms of staff engagement and catering at dinner.
