We recently stayed at Buffalo Luxury Camp for 4 nights. What an incredibly beautiful, unique place! Their name doesn't lie at all. They truly are a luxury camp! Our "tent" had hardwood floors, a king-sized bed and a bathroom I wish I had in my own house! The setting is awesome. You're part-way up a mountain overlooking the Serengeti. Each... More

We stayed at the Buffalo Luxury cam for 2 nights in September at the end of a week's stay in Tanzania. We had seen the 'Big Five' and the migration. The camp is just outside the National Park and we went on two night safari drives which were amazing. The camp itself was very well furnished and luxurious with stunning... More

Thank you very much indeed for taking the trouble to write a review of your stay at Buffalo Luxury Camp. I am delighted to read that you so enjoyed your stay with us! I spoke to our executive chef at the camp who assures me that she went to a great deal of trouble to ensure that there were no... More

The Buffalo Luxury Camp was the second tented lodge that we visited during our safari (Lemala Kuria Hills being the first) in the Serengeti. Yes, it is tented, but it's far from roughing it. The accommodations are first class, with a beautiful, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds, and a view that is spectacular, to say the least. The main lodge area... More

With a small group of 6 people, we got it all: luxury tented camp in the middle of the bush, lions around, elephants nearby, a guide to bring us to our tent at night, an open jeep safari with night ride view on hundreds of gnus, buffalos, a recent lion kill , a roaring male lion, elephants in the night,... After being on safari several times and feeling like I have seen it all, I stayed at buffalo luxury camp for an unforgettable 4 nights. Everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was perfect. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The staff were welcoming and very friendly and we had some really cool activity options. Our first camp in the Serengeti started off on a high note as it was spent at the tantalizing Buffalo Luxury Camp. The accommodations emoted African style and class. The staff was warm, attentive and intuitive to our needs. An unexpected adventure or two was thrown in for good measure. We took a walking safari with almost as many guides... More

They're not bluffing when they call it a "luxury" camp. Buffalo Luxury Camp on the edge of Serengeti in Tanzania is an upscale tent camp set against the hills and looking out across the Serengeti Plain. The tents are spacious and very comfortable--not at all what you'd expect from a camping tent. For one thing, once you step across the... More

From the moment we stepped on the plane to the moment we left, the experience at Buffalo Luxury Camp was amazing. The property is exquisite and every detail arranged - huge "tents" with spectacular views over the park, beautiful tiled bathrooms with a shower and soaking tub (and plenty of hot water!), great food, friendly and attentive staff, a lovely... This is a luxury property. The tents are large, with a beautiful bathroom and as much hot water as you want. Food is excellent, and overall a very comfortable stay just outside the northern entrance to the Serengeti. A highlight is the possibility of a night safari.

We stayed at the camp for two days. We were received by Neil, the manager, who was very friendly and helpful, organizing all our activities. The room is an individual tent on a built base, so the floor is tiled and you have a real bathroom and electricity, air conditioning etc. The only bad aspect of the room, comprised of... More
