I can't say enough great things about this property. Everything was the ultimate in luxury safari bush experience from the accommodations themselves to the dining to the cocktail lounge area to the hippo that walks freely around the property. The staff was amazing - everyone was so pleasant and the services were over the top. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The chef was GREAT! We stayed in tent #18 - fantastic! The hippo roamed around (about 20 feet from our tent entrance!). Just amazing luxury meeting wildlife. If you have the chance - go here!

This camp was by far the most rustic of the places we stayed - the view of the Serengeti from our room was spectacular. At first, I was horrified at the lack of privacy - most “walls” were mesh and there was nowhere to dress without being seen. I quickly realized that I had to scurry from the shower to the toilet area which was on the other side of the tent which was a little weird 😅 but I made it work. Having said that, the rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was very cold at night and very hot during the day so layering is a must. Wi-Fi is not the best so don’t be upset if you can’t access the outside world - do yourself a favour & unplug to enjoy the beauty of this place. Hippos walking around and hearing lions at night were exciting. A big shoot out to Rasheed, the manager & his team. I mentioned to him that I don’t eat breakfast very early and a boxed breakfast appeared with my name on it for the game drive that morning, very unexpected and appreciated. The meals prepared by the chef, Edward were delicious. Stanley was very kind to me, knowing that I had dietary restrictions. Peter at the front desk was also a fine young man. If you’re looking for rustic but with all that you need to be comfortable, this is the place. Loved it here.

The Serengeti experience is incredible, and it's hard to see how it can be bettered, but Ole Serai exceeded our expectations, and then some! The entire experience is completely unique but it's the hospitality that is really second to none - the staff do a fantastic job of putting the customers at the heart of everything, are incredibly attentive and very genuine in all their dealings. The Ole Serai camp beats any hotel, any day of the week. Shout out to Rashid, James and team for looking after us so well

Our stay was really outstanding. It is very well located. The tents have all the comfort of a standard hotel room. Rachid the manager took good care of us and always made sure we have everything we need. Ali, our personnal waiter was just perfect, always smiling. The cooker made sure we had no allergies and wanted to know our preferences as well as our feedback on his very good food. Everything was perfect. Thanks to the whole team.

From the resident giraffe who walked around and near our tent daily to the incredible multi-course meals for every meal, to the impeccable service, to the exciting welcome experience, this place is pure magic. The location in central Serengeti is also critical to have immediate access for safari viewing.
