Beautiful facilities overlooking the Grumeti River make for a luxurious African vacation. Rooms are beautifully appointed; service is impeccable, and the food outstanding. Attention to detail is remarkable; even the gift shop has beautiful objects in a wide variety of price points. Guests are assigned a personal staff member who is always there and attentive to accommodate any request or...

Before I booked, I read the reviews and almost every single one says this is spectacular - and IT IS!!! Our room (8) was luxurious, but in a rustic, safari kind of way and private - which was why we were there. The outdoor shower, the in room siting scope, automatic windows, and all of the extra amenities. You could...

The team at Faru Faru goes above and beyond. Wilson, manager and Joyce assistant manger are always present. Our great server Paul never missed a beat and always with a smile. Our guide Medison is spectacular. He traveled with us to Singita Saskwa so we have him for 6 days! We have seen cheetahs, lions, giraffes, elephants, and tons of...

Stayed here after staying at Singita Sabora. Different atmosphere but still 5 star quality of service, accommodations, and food. Our guide traveled with us here which was fantastic for continuity besides the fact he was the best. Enjoyed watching the waitstaff use sling shots to keep the monkeys away. The pool is gorgeous but we were too busy to go...

I can't say enough amazing things about this lodge. The staff and the accommodations were unbelievable! We stayed here for our honeymoon and they made the experience unforgettable. They were able to anticipate our needs before we even knew we had them! To perch atop of the Serengeti at this location is to experience the Tanzania and Safari in the...

Faru faru has a very low key almost beach vibe. The staff and service was excellent Jackie the manager was excellent and always warm and helpful We loved Massaka and Ed who made our visit so special. What really makes Singita a cut above is that they are on a private game reserve which means that they and only they...

Thank you so much for this review, we really appreciate your honest feedback. We were very disappointed to hear that the food, wine and extras didn’t match our sister lodges in South Africa, but I can assure you this has galvanized us even more to strive for ongoing improvement! The air-conditioning issue is a real concern, and we are currently...

Having never been on safari before, we had little idea of what to expect on our honeymoon trip to Faru Faru. Suffice to say this was so far beyond any expectations we could possibly have had it's hard to imagine it really exists. Everything was of the very highest quality - extraordinary food, exceptional rooms with wonderful views and exquisite...

Great staff and Guides. Room is spectacular. They have an excellent chef that provides a wide variety of delicious options. The setting here is story book. The game drives have been very exciting. Seeing the game in the open landscape is so spectacular and it's exciting to see so much movement.

We stayed at both Singita Faru Faru and Sasakwa. They were both incredible in their own ways. Jeremia was our safari guide and was incredible. Stephen was our waiter and he was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The entire staff exceeded every expectation. And the food was absolutely incredible. They couldn't do enough to make us happy - it was the...

We stayed at Faru, Tented camp, and visited Sasakwa. Faru was by far the best. The atmosphere was amazing, overlooking the watering hole, I walked into the outdoor shower and spooked a cervet sipping on a puddle of water in the middle of the shower. I turned the faucet on just as a lion was vocalizing his annoyance at a...

Singita Faru Faru Lodge is set in Grumeti in northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Built on a gently sloping hill, this riverine lodge, positioned on the renowned migratory route, is a place where you can quite literally expect the unexpected.
