Singita properties are the greatest, most spectacular game lodges on earth! We have stayed at their properties in South Africa and as a result made Singita Faru Faru a "must" destination when we were planning to visit the Serengeti in Tanzania. We are never disappointed! From the moment your small personal plane lands at the private air strip, till you... More

We stayed at Faru Faru for 3 nights and it was magical. The highlights included the room and its amenities, the food, and the sights of dozens of elephants and zebra at the watering hole viewable from most rooms and the main lodge. Our experience was amazing from the moment we arrived with the elephants and zebra taking turns drinking... More

Simply everything about this resort was as described and hit the mark on every level. There is lots of feedback and my friend blogged about the experience extensively, and absolutely loved every aspect. Ive been on a few similar experiences so believe when I said these guys were completely on it to provide whatever we wished for. From the moment... More

We spent 3 exciting days at this amazing Singita property. The staff was marvelous without exception. Sorry but we've forgotten their names and they deserved to be mentioned because they were special. My wife had fallen and injured herself at a previous camp and many staffers here offered to assist her for which we were very grateful. The setting is... More

What can I say about Faru Faru that hasn't already been said. This hotel goes above and beyond and every detail is meticulously thought out. The Grumeti Reserve is a very special place in that it is a private reserve therefore it is not overrun by Safari Vehicles and people. You truly feel like you are alone. Faru Faru is... More

Beautiful facilities overlooking the Grumeti River make for a luxurious African vacation. Rooms are beautifully appointed; service is impeccable, and the food outstanding. Attention to detail is remarkable; even the gift shop has beautiful objects in a wide variety of price points. Guests are assigned a personal staff member who is always there and attentive to accommodate any request or... More

Before I booked, I read the reviews and almost every single one says this is spectacular - and IT IS!!! Our room (8) was luxurious, but in a rustic, safari kind of way and private - which was why we were there. The outdoor shower, the in room siting scope, automatic windows, and all of the extra amenities. You could... More

The team at Faru Faru goes above and beyond. Wilson, manager and Joyce assistant manger are always present. Our great server Paul never missed a beat and always with a smile. Our guide Medison is spectacular. He traveled with us to Singita Saskwa so we have him for 6 days! We have seen cheetahs, lions, giraffes, elephants, and tons of... More

Stayed here after staying at Singita Sabora. Different atmosphere but still 5 star quality of service, accommodations, and food. Our guide traveled with us here which was fantastic for continuity besides the fact he was the best. Enjoyed watching the waitstaff use sling shots to keep the monkeys away. The pool is gorgeous but we were too busy to go... More

I can't say enough amazing things about this lodge. The staff and the accommodations were unbelievable! We stayed here for our honeymoon and they made the experience unforgettable. They were able to anticipate our needs before we even knew we had them! To perch atop of the Serengeti at this location is to experience the Tanzania and Safari in the... More

Singita Faru Faru Lodge is set in Grumeti in northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Built on a gently sloping hill, this riverine lodge, positioned on the renowned migratory route, is a place where you can quite literally expect the unexpected. Informal, unconventional and surprising at every turn, Singita Faru Faru Lodge is a mix of contemporary, organic style and the quirky practicality of a traditional botanist's camp.
