Stayed here while on a business trip. Room was quiet and clean. Very good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Small but adequate gym. Wifi was on and off but perhaps not a hotel problem. Would stay here again.

We recently stayed one night (prior to our safari) and really enjoyed the hotel. It was adorable. The restaurant on-site has good food and great service. I only wish there were an elevator - not because I'm lazy, but because hauling 40lb luggage up three stories is not easy. Most especially when the staff does two suitcases for you (we...

We stayed at the Courtyard for the last night of our weeklong stay in Tanzania, and it ended being an excellent endcap to our visit. We felt comfortable and welcomed, staff were polite and helpful, and the combination of well-kept rooms and pleasant atmosphere provided a much needed peacefulness. It is really too bad that the hotel is so far...

I have stayed in several of the higher end hotels in Dar but this was my first time visiting the Protea Courtyard. To compare: Protea does not have the beautiful view of the Seacliff.
